To be fair, the Drew signing was kinda treated like ....yuk......and most agreed he wouldcould be similar to the .167-ish hitter we saw laat year, but there were one or two of us who felt, as still a reasonable young player (just turned 32yrs old), there should also be a fair chance with a full ST regiment under his belt, he can put up decent numbers along with sound defense. I didn't mind the signing and was willing to see what he has left. He could eventually fall on his face, or come close to his previous numbers prior to 2014. Let's wait and see. He could be a pretty fair 2b/ backup SS insurance policy, as some of us presumed. No "chest beatng" here......just watching and waiting it out until Refsnyder is hopefully ready - soon.

...rick's comment was not "snide" and it was not directed at you....his reference to " Hell, even a broken clock is right twice a day." was an observation about Drew's hitting a big HR even though he's a poor hitter... just as the previous poster had observed.
I could of swore I heard on the sound cam, Drew say, as he was swinging for the fence, "this Bud's for you Ricky".....("If I can even make contact").....
