Rick, I wasn't trying to stir up any crap or argument, believe me. But seriously, i just thought it was appropriate and fair to give my (differing) opinion on how "bad" a team looks after the first 9 games. I certainly agree if the team started 1-8 or 0-9 and were already 7-8 games out of first placw I would find it alarming and worrisome, or if this was a crucial part later in the season if the team was in the hunt for a playoff spot. The reason I mention the other teams in their division - and you can include other WC team contenders - is because THEY are the competition the Yanks are up against. I admit the team hasn't played well and I'm absolutely aware they have a couple of older players with recent history problems, I'm hoping they all don't fall down together like a house of cards...lol......nevertheless, I just thought it was fair to try and kinda give a different perspective with 153 games left. Okay, I'm done here unless you have a question for me. Lol Always remember, I do enjoy and welcome some passionate Yeah but this 2015, not 2012. Just thought I'd toss in that little tidbit.
...coulda, shoulda, woulda,...didn't. ...it goes both ways...they could've also have easily been swept in 2 of those series.
Ah......but they didn't. If they started out 1-8, I would call Houston and tell them we have a little problem....as of now, the boat is still soundly in the EARLY race.
...uhhh, again, that was precisely the point. It does not matter what the Yanx "could've, should've, would've done". My post was in response to what bernie said about the Yanx "could have easily won 2 out of 3" in each of the first 3 series...but they didn't. ...you seem to have a lot of trouble with even the simplest of concepts.
...^^^ 2 all the above threads....... we've got all realists here but one.......and we all know who that one is.......
I just farted, but remind me to give you a matchbook cover so you can write all you know about baseball. I said "baseball", not ballparks or autographs. lol
But it is predictable. Sad, but predictable. Nothing wrong with optimism. However blind optimism without basis in realism is unhealthy. Its equally dangerous as absolute negativity.
