Doesn't matter what the majority think. He's going to be back next year given the opportunity to redeem himself.

    As he should.

Unfortunately, I think Terry is falling by the same way side for Marzy.

He is absolutely the best coach we have had since Mike Dunlevy. Not sure he is doing his job with Damian though. An He does not have the best offense I have ever seen either,
just a whole hell of a lot better than McMillan.

I don't think Damian is as terrible on defense as some people say though. It's the way the Blazers play the pick and roll. On most teams, the center will come out more to give the PG more time to recover, but the Blazers have Rolo sit back...partially because he's not to fleet a foot.

I know you're an offensive guru and have no doubts you know what you are talking about, Marz. You've watched a ton of basketball.

Lopez has to hang back because Aldridge won't cover him. All Blazer problems lead to that softy Aldridge.

Lopez already had a rap before he came to the Blazers that he wasn't good at stepping out and defending the pick and roll. And the defense is designed to play to his strength and let him sit back and defend the rim. It's really not a bad strategy, but perhaps they could tweak it when we play guys like Udrih and Dragic who feast on us in the mid range.

LA has not been a softy since the thumb injury. He's the heart of the team now, and it doesn't look like he'll be enough. Too bad Matthews is hurt. I think all of Damian's problems are stemming from his shitty shooting. He couldn't even attack a hobbled Conley.

Udrih became the first player to record at least 20 points, seven assists and seven rebounds off the bench in the NBA playoff since Nick Van Exel in 2003.

Damn that's ridiculous. Point guards torch us.

Conley is a great defender, hobbled or not, but getting by him was not the problem. The problem was what he incurred when he got to the rim. I read your comment on Canzano's article. You were "dumb-founded as to why he wasn't trying to attack Conley and his sore foot tonight.". How can you say he did not try to attack? He took 25 shots (counting the ones he was fouled on.) Only six were three pointers. That leaves a lot times where he tried to attack. He may have looked bad trying to force things, but why go on on multiple forums and make shit up?

Good lord. Lillard is fucking amazing. He's been playing for a year non-stop and all the people who can take the pressure off of him are injured.

If we don't make it out of this series, Lillard will be back to his old self next year.

It may not happen by the end of the series with Memphis, but I strongly suspect that whatever is hampering his game is fixable and by next season he will have regained whatever health/mojo/whatever that he's missing.

Fully Agree. Not hard to best McMillans schemes though. . .
Having said that, this is probably the worst "preperation" for the play-offs I have seen the Blazers undertake in recent memory.
Lillard clearly needed rest - yet Stotts played him into the ground, late into decided games, as if we had a goal to catch - only to turn around and casually throw home court away - without a second thought.

Overall I think Terry has set-up the Blazers to fail. Discounting the injuries for a moment, the team looks ill-prepared anyway. Terrible offensive/defensive schemes & horrid fundamentals are the results of players that look dis-interested & drained - mentally and physically. Now add the injuries and the emotions of the play-offs to an already physically fatigued team . . .Well, a lot of the underachieving, from Damian, and the team as a whole, has to rest solely with the Coach not preparing the team more effectively IMO.
