I'll root for this team until the bitter end. Losing a game or a series doesn't make me less of a fan.
yeah its too bad most ppl on here just jump ship on all of our players after these two games. ppl overreact...its amazing what ppl have been saying on here lately. the whole lillard conversation(HES BEEN PRETTY DAMN GOOD FOR 2 1/2 OUT OF 3 YEARS)...aldridge is leaving now...stotts needs to be fired.....BLA BLA BLA. why doesnt everyone just support the team. honestly i think this is part of the reason players think about leaving here. we are so critical its sad and ripcitytwo is known for being diehard blazer fans. most ppl on here just bitch when the tough gets going. It's pretty sad that when Blazer fans enter a fansite to cheer for their team, it's considered a character flaw. I used to enjoy game threads but I'm about done with them. One can only take so much whining. This version of the Blazers deserves better, even when they slump or lose.
There's another subset of fans as well. The ones that do the 'paitent bitching'. They'll just bitch the entire time about something, anything, even if on a 12 game win streak. On a 2 game losing streak? SEE I TOLD YOU! It's cyclical, it's sad.
So much this. This team deserves better than this, absolutely love the effort and AMAZING memories this whole squad has given us for past few years. When healthy they've never shown to be a mediocre team either, constantly improving. Heck they even turned one of the worst defenses last year to one of the best (again when healthy). These guys put in the effort, and I will always support this squad.
ive been on here for about 8 or 9 years now and it is not the same place. i rarely post on here anymore....a lot of the good people are gone. i miss the days when everyone was positive and use to just argue with MIXUM. now there are so many experts sitting behind their computer screens bashing the team. probably all guys who got cut from their high school basketball teams.
I think we could all cheer a little harder. We are about to find out what happens when you back some rabbid dawgs in a corner. Lets get these mother fuckers. Even if we dont winthe series, make it their hardest fought battle. Make them remember us.
Because the truth hurts. LMA is on his way out, dame isn't as good as we thought he was so what exactly do you want people to be cheerful about? It's bad times right now in a way I wish this happened last year so we could have atleast gotten Andrew wiggins
There is nothing wrong with pointing out the fact that Dame has had two bad playoff games. Or that Dame is going to bounce back. If not this series, then certainly next season. Because he's a damn good basketball player. Or that missing 4 key players makes it difficult to beat the Grizzlies, in the playoffs, on their home court. And the team, in those two games, don't look so good. Go Blazers!
the truth is we have 2 home games IN THE PLAYOFFS starting saturday to try to get back to evening this series. the truth hurts? what are you a fortune teller? than can you please tell me who we will be getting to fill out our roster next year? everyone is acting like hte season is over, its not. we lost saturday than ok i can understand why ppl start onto the offseason. thanks for being the perfect example for my argument. if i was a player i wouldnt want to play for a city that rips our best players either
Gotta admit, the Portland media is pretty good at whipping up a mob to run players out of town. At least they aren't back to trying to run the franchise out of town. Yet.
I'm fairly sure its not happening(hopefully), but I shudder thinking about what anyone in the orginazation (Player, Coach, GM, Trainer, Television Personality...Video Coordinator's excluded) would think if they decided to go to the teams official forums to see what fans were saying. Honestly though you never know.
