It's going to be a long offseason with all the media chatter of LMA leaving us (which I don't believe, national media is just awful and grab small statements and make a mountain out of nothing).

At the end of the day, when many of you are shitting your pants throughout the forum about what we need to do, just take a breathe, and remember that Olshey's got our backs.

This is a guy who drafted Leonard and McCollum who are looking like they might be studs in the future. When he said those two were untouchable and we laughed at him this trading deadline, he proved to us he knows what he is talking about, and we are a bunch of front office wannabes.

When he signed Kaman and missed out on Spencer Hawes, we shat ourselves. Hawes ended up sucking badly, and Kaman was great until we overused him and ran him down. Kaman also helped Leonard tremendously by mentoring him. I think he will get value from Kaman's partially guaranteed deal this offseason too, making that signing even more awesome for us.

When we thought we needed bench scoring, he went out and got us Afflalo for basically peanuts. IT didn't work out as planned, but I still have faith we will like the outcome. Whether that being Afflalo redeeming himself next year with us, or by Afflalo opting in and us using him in a trade for something else.

So even if we make an under the radar move that most of you would hate, like turning Rolo into Tyson Chandler or Roy Hibbert, I'm going to trust Olshey knows what he is doing until he proves otherwise.

Even if Aldridge leaves, remember that we are in good hands with Olshey, and I think we'll be happy with how our team looks by training camp.

    In Olshey, I trust.

Yup. Olshey really is one of the better GMs in the NBA. His worse move so far is the Afflalo trade and honestly... That's still a good trade.

Olshey is a stud and we are lucky to have him. I hope he stays forever. I wish someone would put together a Youtube comp of his acting roles.

Media will certainly turn Aldridge into the Melo/Lebron FA story of the summer. We will probably have Laker trolls, Mavs trolls, and Rockets trolls coming to this forum.

    What if Olshey trusts Stotts?

Then I trust that Olshey is right and I am just having a momentary panic attack. That is how much I trust Olshey.

I think Stotts came in with his hands tied, knowing he had to build his entire offense around Aldridge. If Aldridge stays, I bet Stotts will develop new team systems to be more diverse. The last 2 years were to appease Aldridge.

I'm not sure talking about trading players and what players may do or discussing who you'd like to see leave/stay constitutes "pants shittin" or "hating".....

I see it as Basketball discussion on a Basketball forum.

While I really like Olshey and want to continue under his guidance, let's not forget that he's #1 option last summer was Spencer Hawes.
I trust Olshey, but not unconditionally.

it's definitely pants Shitting when people are saying we need to blow u p the team for draft picks every year. This team was the second seed in the west, then Wes went down and we sucked. I don't mind discussions about improving the team. Going overboard with wanting draft picks and blowing it all up because we limped into the playoffs is what I'd say is constant pants Shitting

Blazer fans have little brother syndrome too often. We have been waiting on potential for the past decade. We finally get a contender of a team when healthy and dudes want young draft picks to jerk off to instead

Hmm... I think you're kinda pants shitting but from in reverse, LOL.

Understand that wanting draft picks may be a little short sighted right now, but it makes for good conversation/discussion about possibilities.

I think we have a good opportunity to be a top 3 team in the west as long as we re-sign Aldridge. If Aldridge doesn't re-sign, then the team will be built around Lillard

A defensive minded team built around Lillard would be great. Would just need to get average/good defenders with other role players that can hit a shot (AKA Courtney Lee)

    Awesome OP Mr. Fizzle.

Olshey is the only reason I think LaMarcus will come back.

Haha nah, it's just comical to me that fans continually want to blow it up for draft picks. I understand that the draft is a tool to add assets, but come on man. Continuity is just as important. and giving up starters for picks is crazy with how good this team is healthy

I finished a bottle of vino w/the lady and then cried. But today is a new day, I'm excited about the changes coming.
