No way this cap team can beat us 2 more games. We should have 4 goals a game against this defense

It is amazing though, one fluke goal and that is all. Damn shame is what it is. Chance after chance and cannot finish. I think we have been the better team in all 3 games, but it means SH*T when you cannot score and trail 2-1.

They lost because they can't score.

What is this fuckin French moron's obsession with Boyle? Why is he on the fucking ice at the end of the game?

Ok. You obviously don't watch hockey. Good to know. Thank god there's an ignore feature here so I don't have to read your dribble anymore.

We scored ZERO goals. That is the issue. Outside of last game, 3 goals, we simply cannot score again in the playoffs. Crazy sh*t really.

Well yes... But to lose on just that goal makes it worse

Holtby had something to do with that. Game of inches, and every inch seemed to benefit him. Wednesday night, the Rangers need to live in front of Holtby, and just throw the puck towards the net

Tampa Bay doesn't play a defensive style. They were the highest scoring team for a reason

They're simply in LOVE with passing. And I'd be ok with it if it were good passes that set up goals. Instead they pass up goal chances and pass low % passes.

What does it matter how their goal was scored? It wasn't a fluke goal. Beagle banked it off Yandle. Guys do that all the time

Holtby was fine, but I disagree with acting as if it was mainly Holtby. This has been a theme in the playoffs in cse you haven't noticed.

Year after year... No power play presence and can't win face offs

It's pretty simple, you aren't going to beat Holtby or any other goalie with predictable shots from the sides and 23ft out.

Yup, they change for one game where they shoot more and then it's right back to their bad habits.

Losing Boyle to TB hurt. He was great on faceoffs. Or at least seemed great at this point compared to this crap lol

Boyle played his ass off, gave up the body, went to the net, skated back when needed to play defense. In fact, the whole team played there asses off, just face a hot goalie. Sucks, but it happens

Brian Boyle seemed to have a knack for scoring the ugly goals in the playoffs.

Holtby isn't a hot goalie. He made 2 good saves tonight
