...good thing the pinstripers got some runs tonight...CC always seems to have that 1 really bad inning out of nowhere.

He's done as any kind of quality starter.

Attendance just announced 10,619 fans. That's just ridiculous.

...to put it perspective, CC's ERA is 5.20 and Boston's team ERA is 4.97.

At this rate, the Yanks could soon consider calling up Lindgren to replace Carpenter and calling up Mitchell for a look-see for a couple of starts in place of Whitley or maybe Warren ...with Warren or Whitley possibly taking Carpenter's role in the bullpen.

Carpenter has clearly been the very weak link in the mid-relief role.

Yanks have options.....fortunately they still have some wiggle room to tolerate Carpenter for awhile longer....but I don't think it will be too much longer.

HOLY SHIT! an opposite field HR from Teixeira. Yankees doing it all tonight. Offensively that is.

Teixeira also has 4 hits tonight, I'll bet you've got to go a ways back to see the last time he did that.

Welp, Arod gets drilled again with a pitch for the second time in the past couple of days while YANKEE KILLERS such as Fat Papi and James Loney continue to feel VERY COMFORTABLE while batting against the Yanks.

It's beginning to become both very annoying and disappointing.

And it's off the cat walk for the win. Must say didn't expect 19 homers and 47 RBIs combined for Tex and Arod at this point in the season.

Always a pleasure to see the Yankees whip the shit out of the Rays. Rolling thunder tonight helped out the "Big Man". I'll take it.

Attendance tonight: 10,619 or 30 percent of capacity most of them were probably Yankee Fans!

Hell I think the Expos use to draw better than this.

We've all discussed the ifs with this team but one "if" that I'd almost bite on is if a 20 per cent offensive improvement is achieved by McCann, Tex, and Beltran it would be a huge help. Pitching was decent in '14 but the God Damn Team could not score. Seeing 4 bombs and some crooked numbers tonight was really cool. Would love to see the Yankees sweep this team right out of Tropicana.

Tex has always been the key. Maybe he need to get fully healthy but this is exactly what you needed from this guy. 30-35 homers and over 100 RBIs seems quite doable at this point if he stays healthy.

CC may, or may not be done as "any kind" of a quality starter but tonight,
    He pitched 7 innings, 6 H, 3 ER and 9 Ks.

MY jury hasn't come back YET with the verdict.
