A friend of mine is an ER nurse. The stories he tells, with lives on the line, that's got to be one of the most stressful jobs I've heard of. Jobs I've had in life, restaurant, business and laboratory jobs have all had their moments, but none come close to ER nurse or a handful of other jobs with grave responsibility attached. Acting has to be tough to put oneself through the process of being continually judged, but the consequences are simply feeling bad or not getting a paycheck. Lives aren't on the line, children's futures aren't in sway. The commercial will still be filmed and Oil Can Henry will find a different spokesman.
NAH BRO, THAT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE STRESS OF HAVING TO MEMORIZE LINES. I love the list. 1. Actor 2. Newspaper Reporter 3. Photojournalist 5. Broadcaster GEE, I WONDER WHAT THE AUTHOR OF THE FUCKING ARTICLE WORKED AS AND PROBABLY FAILED AT IN HIS CAREER. :MARIS61:
My job was mellow until they put me on another program and I'm working with a cockbag. Now it's pretty stressful.
And here I thought being a roofer or coal miner would be stressful... Because you know, you might die...
I recently saw a picture of an EOD member crying like a baby because his bomb robot had been blown up while defusing a bomb. He had named the robot Scooby Doo. So yeah.... I think that's a stressful job.
I think Renner's most stressful acting job had to be playing Dahmer.. Can't look at him the same after that.
How is diversity officer not on this list? Telling white dudes to check their privilege seems like it would be a lot more stressful than what Brian does.
Oh man I did Commercial Roofing for a while. suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. Mainly the scumbags you work with, have a chance to kill you at any given moment. Due to being cracked out, or stupid and causing a job site accident.
My buddy is doing it and he says half the guys he work with are drunk or methed up. Lots of hours though.
