Working or not working I'll go with Prado, Greene, and Phelps. Will give Eovaldi some credit but still the aforementioned three. I'm going to go out on a limb here and credit Rothschild for a job nicely done with the staff overall. And I'll also contribute to the Gregorius and Jones suck opinion.

    ^^^yeah, for some reason, it would not post as a poll, but before I edited it out, the 2 options were;

    1. Prado, Greene, and Phelps. ?

    2. Garrett Jones, Germaine, Eovaldi, and DiDi. ?

Ridiculous "poll" trying to prove YOUR point.....lol

Try this on for size- Yanks in first place without Prado and Phelps.

And put me down as one of those who say -
PHELPS SUCKED WITH THE YANKEES AND HAD TROUBLE STAYING HEALTHY.

There ya go, now your little poll has a bit more sensible rationale.

They were in first early last year and the year before as well. We know how those turned out.

I don't know if anyone else thought this but Mc Cann seemed a bit more relaxed after Prado arrived, former team mates and they both finished nicely. And as I've stated before, Prado played well, everywhere, THE FANS LIKED HIM. . When Greene and Prado were traded that was anther "Choke Cshman" move I'd have liked to make. First Place, yeah it is nice but only if you end your season that way. Without some quality moves this team will be on the down elevator. The Yankees radar at this time is about as reliable as AMTRAK technical equipment in Philadelphia.

...lol...other than you, who else thinks it's "ridiculous"?

...it was a pretty simple poll/question...all you have to do is pick one of the two groups...but instead of following the topic, you predictably try to hijack it onto an all too familiar topic/direction.

....but I do however find it laughable that on one hand you point to the the Yanx currently being in first place without acknowledging that they were also last year. ...and then on the other hand, you point to last year's Phelps without acknowledging what he's done this year (6 starts, 5 quality starts. 2-0, and an ERA of 2.68

...more of your statistical gymnastics....do you want to cite the present or the past?...pick one, and just be consistent for a change.

At this point of the season I think Prado, Greene & Phelps would have contributed more to the team then Didi, Jones & German has. Eovaldi I'm still up in the air about. One thing is certain I would have DEFINITELY preferred Prado over Drew at 2nd base.

Did you say QUALITY starts? Lmao...... CC - lmaooooo

And just for you and the rest of the bobblehead crew....the Yanks were nor in first place at this point last year...and before you start burying Did I, he's already prevented a lot more base runners and showed more range and skill than our 40 yr old captain who came close to embarrassing himself defensively and didn't exactly light up the offensive stats.

Stop acting like a fool trying to convince the bobblehead crew that Phelps was an asset for the Yanks.

And read this part carefully➡ Yanks are doing fine WITHOUT your butt buddy Prado.

Not go take a walk. Come back when you feel like being intellectually honest.

They're doing okay now but think about how much better they'd be with Prado at 2nd base instead of Drew. That is unless you think Drew is better.

My least favorite moves of the offseason were the Headley re-signing and failing to sign Moncada. The Greene - Gregorius swap is a wash of failure for both sides as this point. Eovaldi is a power arm who needs to learn how to pitch, but at least he's not a butcher in the process. He absolutely needs to become more efficient with 2 strikes. Either getting strikeouts or forcing weak contact. He is a lot like Hughes once the count gets there. He is way too hittable for a guy throwing 98, he lacks any pitchers that fool hitters. I dont see him ever becoming a front end starter, he'd have made bigger strides by now, but I think he can be a legit 4 in the near future with the upside of a 3 on a good team. Prado's value was diminished when they re-signed Headley. Keeping him would have blocked Pirela & Refsnyder. Hopefully one of them pans out to make opening up 2B worth it. If both bust out it really hurts as Prado's bat from 2B would have benefit this offense greatly.

    Okay, for the umpteenth time.......

I have already admitted a long time ago (prior to ST) , that the Yanks and I, would expect Drew to bounce back with decent numbers after a full ST and beginning the season on time.....and NOT expect Drew who just turned 32yrs old, having a good career (as a SS) only two years ago to fall off the map indicating he just can't get his BA to respectability. In fact it's been horrible. He was signed for 5 mil and moved to 2b and can easily be released (waved), or relegated to being a backup SS/2b.

And I've never said Prado wasn't a fine player..and I guess you wanted him to play 3b and he's under contract for 22 mil for the next two years.
If he played 2b, he kinda blocks any chance at getting a good look at Pirela or Refsnyder at 2b. And his "versatility" would be limited as the Yanks have Young (31 yrs old) for 2.5 mil and can play all three outfield positions competently.

The Yanks chose to trade Prado/Phelps and sign Headley and trade for Gregorious.
Bad moves? You ARE judging them on May 18.
    Time will tell.
The "Prado, Greene Phelps guys" could be right when the dust settles....or wrong.

As for Phelps - he had a 4.17 ERA and a 134 WHIP and hardley ever pitched into or past the 7th inning and has been injury prone the past two years.

    Now consider these two things:

    1) Not a SINGLE one of you can prove the Yanks would be "better" if they kept Greene, Prado and Phelps.

    2) The Yanks ARE currently in first place.

    Is THAT an "answer"?

    Yeah, I think so.

Okay, continue your meaningless little bobblehead poll.
