I think that's good for this team as some of the older guys can get some rest in.

But according to Girardi he's been hitting the ball a lot better lately.

Yep - and the bullpen gets a day off.
Keeping the rest of the division at bay with back to back 3 game sweeps.

Yanks are 2 games (loss column) behind the best record in the league and the Cardinals currently are the only N.L club with a better W-L record.
    Hilarious!

Hey, pass me those pom poms.

...just as before, you'll again become mute when they go on another bad streak.

To the OP, do you mean the Team, or us Old Fans...?

Your failure to note that nothing on this team has changed....we still have the same damn holes and flaws. The standings are still statistically irrelevant.

I cannot remember the Yanx doing more with more than less........

This years rendition of a Yankees Pitching Staff, is laughable to say the least......

I've never seen such a weak Yanx Staff, do so much, as to play pretenders to the throne......Hopefully, before the trade deadline, Trashman may find a good Pitcher or 2 or 3.......

and yes- with the above comments, I would LOVE to be corrected, with only results, come PS......but then who realistically expects this team could win a Wild Card, or ALDS, let alone a ALCS........

but then what for a long time was considered the toughest division in baseball, hath become the weakest, IMHO........just the fact's ma'am...

    ...I don't have a problem...like I already told you, I've been tested.

... I also noticed that you did not try to deny what I said.

    What are you talking about....?
You chose to personally attack/criticize me out of the blue in your reply to my post (#5) and now you're being confrontational and trying to start some kind of debate because I didn't reply to it?

    I can't believe this! (actually I can, lol) -
I reply (post 5) to the OP regarding a day off for the Yanks after they just completed back-to-back three game sweeps and pointing out how "well" they're currently doing and you felt the need to reply (post 6) with a bitter insulting comment personally directed at me and persist at trying to carry it on.

I'm well aware this Yankee team isn't perfect and there is a long way to go.

..."confrontational"?...really?...you're playing the "Who me?...I'm innocent." card?...hypocritical much?

    ...not surprised that you left this part of your post out;

"Yanks are 2 games (loss column) behind the best record in the league and the Cardinals currently are the only N.L club with a better W-L record.
    Hilarious!

Hey, pass me those pom poms."

...but yeah, you're just an innocent bystander here...are you seriously trying to claim that you were not being "confrontational" with reply?...gimme a fucking break.
