    Portland Coyotes?

We'll call them the Peyotes for short.

    That'd be a trip.

Mags would relocate to Portland and get season tickets.

I hope the next pro team to land in Portland adopts the battered bastards of baseball's name: Mavericks

Great movie. Actually, they should make that into a movie.

I would really love NHL to come here, However I will not get excited over the NHL coming to Portland because I know it will just be a let down. I am convenienced Paul Allen only wants Portland to be a one major sports city.

Football absolutely not... Baseball? That could work.

NHL is the best thing though and would be VERY successful in Portland.

I don't agree. I think McGowan might have been brought in for a small purpose for this very reason. And if not I have no doubt that Chris is already looking into this and will try to sell him on the idea...because he loves hockey.

Well I really hope your right! I would really love to see some NHL hockey in Portland!! And I still can't understand why people say that they can't see the puck because it moves to fast? I see it just fine.

Hockey live and in HD is so easy to follow. Standard def was hard to follow the puck.

Ironically (or not) the biggest competitor for a NHL team POR has is probably SEA.

I don't think Seattle has a building ready like Portland does.

    Quebec City!

I would support the NHL if they came to Portland. Otherwise I really have no interest in it.

I've tried to follow it, but without a team I truly cared about, it didn't last. I'd be super stoked to have an NHL team.

Well, Paul Allen obviously prefers Seattle to Portland, so I bet he's buying the Coyotes and moving them to Seattle!

    You can't convict me otherwise!

Soccer and hockey as our other pro sports? Yawn... At least we have the blazers and college football to watch.
