Alright. I'm biased. But Joey Buckets Young from the Oregon Ducks will be a steal in the 2nd. And since all TRUE Blazer fans are Duckees at heart -- I am sure you have love him too!

I'm not a fan of Terran Petteway. He's a small small forward that doesn't particularly rebound well (4.9 rpg), distribute the ball (2.8 apg), or shoot efficiently (39% fg, 31% 3ptfg). He averages a high amount of turnovers (3.4 tpg) and quite a few fouls (3.0 fpg). Oh, and he's 22+ years old.

    Here's a bit from NBADraft.net:

    Yeah, yeah, BUT:
    a) the name "Terran" is awesome. He BETTER have a brother called Martian.
    b) those are all reasons why you don't get drafted in the FIRST round. And reasons why people like Middleton and Green get drafted too low.

What I like about him is that he's obviously smart, he's a good teammate, he's got a good wingspan (which seems to be more important to defense than vertical or height) and he dragged Nebraska to the NCAAs the season before the one just past (and in the one just past his mother was dying).

ALSO: I don't mind turnovers that much given that he was basically the only offense Nebraska had, and I think he was playing SG more than SF, which makes the rebounding numbers actually pretty good.

But my #1 reason for liking him: he's fun to watch!

So many pulled out of the draft. Lucas was probably the most surprising withdrawal.

Mulutinov and Gudaitis are nice draft-and-stash prospect.

In the right situation, Robert Upshaw will be the biggest steal in the 2nd round.
Mighty Joe Young could also be a steal.

Philly has FIVE picks in the second round.

    #35 or #37 should be a target.

We have no 2nd round picks for something like 4 straight years and Philly has 5 in one Draft. If Upshaw were available, I'd definitely take a shot at him in the 2nd round. He may be that guy that is the 1st pick in the 2nd round as he'll easily have the biggest upside of anyone left but you don't have to guarantee him a contract.
