Don't worry. I actually went to a L*kers championship parade in the past. The people who went there made that Blazers rally look like a Victoria's Secret Lingerie Show.

And they smelled worst than they looked.

If he leaves there will not be a player I could ever hate more.

Team has been built around him for half a decade, has a coach that lets him take any shot he wants, GM got him a center that he wanted because he didn't want to play center himself in a league where he would dominate downlow. He has been one of the most pampered players in the league. And if he's sensitive to Dame getting more attention that him, it's his own fault. He isn't marketable or well spoken.

My goodness I couldn't have said it better. The guy got everything he wanted here. He got his potential superstar sidekick in Damian Lillard with great drafting, he got the center he wanted, we gave him a coach who caters to his skills, role players, made a nice deadline draft that solidified our bench, we even drafted cj and Meyers who pretty much right on schedule are developing to perfectly round out the bench..

Neil Olshey has gotten him everything he needed please tell me what other GM can do that's more?? Shit to pick Lillard at 6 whose turned into all NBA talent is alone enough for him to be impressed.

Think about it if he leaves all this we stated PLUS like 30M more we can give him that's incredibly embarrassing and almost a F you to the city.. He could have atleast told us so we could have traded him..

The best revenge will be if his next coach forces him to play his natural position, Center.

Just reinforces my belief that you can't build a championship team around a PF (unless you're lucky enough to have the best PF to ever play the game).

yeesh turning on a guy before he's left.

He's a FA, and earned the right to go where he wants. Played hurt his "last year" here (if he leaves)
If he leaves and bad mouths the city, or fans, then sure I'll jump on and say not cool. But even if he leaves cause other teams offer him more of what he wants (even if its less money) then I wish him nothing but the best.

He mentioned last year that he would stay. If he would have just internally revealed his sentiment if he wanted to leave, Neil could have easily found a package similar to what Minny got for Love.

If he leaves now and we don't get anything in return because our front office trusted his lying ass, then he completely deserves all the hate he will inevitably get.

What makes you think he hasn't internally revealed his sentiment, either way?

A few reasons, 1) he straight up said to everyone that the only reason he did not sign an extension last summer was to get his 5th year (ya he might have been playing the media, but I want to believe him) 2) He would have been traded by now, or we would have heard trade rumors over the last year.

If he internally revealed his desire to stay, then props to him, and he would obviously not get any hate.

I agree that you can no longer build your team around a PF. It's all about the players who can dribble, because when the game is on the line, it is too easy for the defense to force a big to give the ball up. They will just collapse on him.

But you still need versatile bigs on the floor. And LMA is one of the better ones in the league. So you obviously keep him if you can. We are a better team with him. If we can't, then Leonard is the next man up..........

minds and hearts change. And its a business. Our very own GM made his intentions known to Eric Gordon then traded him when a no brainer came along. At the end of the day, we all have to do whats best for ourselves. So I wouldn't be mad, even if he had a change of heart.

But if he bad mouths, then I say pile on the hate. But at this point in time, he hasn't done anything that would lead me to believe that he would go that route (not saying you are implying he would)

    Just my opinion.

He's not implying he would. He's implying he already has.

I didn't notice any implication on him saying LA would bad mouth the city/organization/fans etc. That's what I was referring to.

I agree with this. Where we disagree is on LMA's versatility. While he doesn't use his versatility on offense very often, he does have a diverse array of ways to score. But outside of scoring, or defending another PF, he doesn't have any versatility and that's why we'll never get over the hump of "pretender" status with him on the team.

So you are saying the Kings "lead by Chris Webber", who were robbed in game 6 against the lakers couldn't beat NJ in the finals?

Who are you thinking about instead of LMA?
