I think Nic makes 12.8 mil next season, do not resign Afflalo. I think we are going after Hibbert for 13 mil per
That was my first thought too. Hibbert's hates it in Indiana and wants out. He is no longer a max player. He could platoon with Leonard depending on the match up.
Well Mags maybe Vonleh he goes to Indy (where he played in college) in a Hibbert trade if Hibbert opts in, or if he opts out and we do a sign and trade with the Pacers? and use our capspace and they get some cap relief
That's what I'm hoping for. Pacers don't need Batum because they have a stud SF already. Just grab who we need from the player we are willing to part with
I don't think we'll go over the cap by resigning guys via bird rights. We'd have no starting or backup SF.
I think DJ is the target, just makes a lot of sense especially when you consider the history between Neil and DeAndre.
Which can't be too much. I want to get Hibbert, but as with most centers these days he is a only a situational type player. There are teams he will help us against (i.e Howard who kills us) but others he won't play much. (i.e GS) So we need a player like him, but he is only good for half the game.
