If you gave Claver his attitude you'd actually have a really good player. But if you gave him Claver's attitude, you'd have a guy who would just be a fairly tall non-athlete.

Kammerichs may have been the longest-tenured Blazer of all time.

I can't say I know anything about Diez, but based on your description of him and the videos of him online, he is literally the anti-Batum player. He's thicker without the lanky reach that Batum had, he's a consistent shooter. He looks like he plays with a lot of heart and is super competitive. I for one would prefer somebody with more heart, I was sick of watching Batum just kind of coast out there on the court.

According to ESPN's international analyst Fran Fraschilla, Diez wants to play in the NBA badly. "He would swim across the Atlantic to play in the NBA," Fraschilla said.

Well, that won't be a problem for Diez, because he won't be on the court.

Well, he can play in Portland. Maine, that is.

    The Rasta reverse curse.

Watch Diez come over and turn into a Kyle Korver.

Being in Sergio too and we could house 3 Spanish players! If only we kept Claver! ;)

That's why I love RC2. Because I highly doubt any other forum has a 50+ post thread on the #54 pick (who wasn't illegally drafted from the Qatari League), and that there are multiple people who have looked up and can intelligently speak about the #30-or-whatever rated Euro on the board.

And that most of us can speak intelligently about Frederico Kammerichs. :)

Fairly quick release and good mechanics. Looks like he totally needs to be set up and is very one dimensional....the epitome of a 'stand in the corner and wait for an open 3' guy. I like the intensity but he is going to need players around him that can create mismatches and get him open shots.
