Young has been playing left for weeks now why the hell didn't Girardi just leave him there & put Jones in his natural position (RF). No sense at all.

I really hope we can pull this one out. Pineda deserves a win here.

Memo to Yankees: The Bostons helped out today by kicking Archers Tail and beating the Tampa Team. A win today would be super.!!!!!!!!!!

Thankfully this one is over. I had enough of watching these idiots hit ground balls into shifts all day.

Great way to take advantage of that Tampa loss gang. Pineda with a nice line today, team mates failed to show.

Two of the Astros runs were defensive gifts. The blunder in the outfield led to one & Didi's bad decision led to another. And no offense certainly didn't help either.

Oh well onto California. Ellsbury should as long as there's no problems in his rehab games should be back for the July 4th weekend series with Tampa.

A split, with the Team who could win the AL West Pennant; and could possibly tangle with the Yanx, in P.S. IF the Yanx can hang on......a good barometer of the AL East and Yanx....?

I've long said the Stro's will be a Post Season Team by 016, a ALCS or W.S. Champ, in 017-018. All those years of First Picks in the First and most other rounds; are finally paying off.

I love seeing any Team, build themselves to Post Season Caliber squad, built from the ground up. Rookie Ball to the BIGS in a year, for some....Houston's problem last year, was fast tracking rookies, too often too soon....but will the Astro's pay these kids, Altuve, Correa, Keuchel, the big $$$$ once the hit Free Agency. That IS the question......

and begin at 10, 10:30 bed time for most people. Even Central Time sux, games start at 9:30, end at 12-12:30, still to late into the night, especially for those who got to get up and go to work. Being Retired, offers some advantages, to altar ones time frame, but is still got its disavantages...

It blew my mind, and pissed me off, in 96-97, when in JoeJah, the West Coast games I'd have to VHS record, watch after work, when I already knew the score, read the paper too.......just wasn't the same on the East coast, and I could not adapt from Pacific Coast Time, the entire 2 years I lived in GA. Luzianna, 2 hour difference wasn't bad, but wasn't good either......I've lived out here in the southwest deserts too effing long, to re-adapt......

It's a treat too, to get East Coast games, out here in West Coast time, when day games begin at 10:oo am, nothing like Breakfast over a Yankees game(s)......

If I had to build an infield around a second baseman give me Altuve, that man flat out hustles each game out.

small squirt, but a BIG Bang of Dynamite......

Altuve as little as he is, brings a big punch to the game, day after day......the spark plug, too often on base, or driving in a run or 2, witht the bat or with a GG caliber defense....

...Yanx were lucky to get a split...they could have easily been swept...then again, with a couple of timely hits they could have swept the Astros.

He's an annoying little fuck like Pedroia and you would hate him if he was on the Red Sox.

I remember when the Astros, well actually it was the Colt 45s back then, had another little player who was dynamite. And no I'm not talking about the Toy Cannon Jimmy Wynn, I'm talking about Joe Morgan.

...and you would love both if they were on the Yanx.
