    LA is giving every team that will listen the time of day. While those teams are focused on giving LA all the love, Olshey is working behind the scenes to acquire other FA talent, and after we have commitments, LA will tell everyone he is going back to Portland. LA has been in on it the whole time and everyone is buying it.

    LA is staying but in a weird scenario that he did leave..I want him in Toronto..see how many records he sets there and how many rings he'll win..only play against him twice a year and not have to face him in the west..yup, that's where he should go if he leaves

    texas forums were talking tax/salary advantages of the lone star state. aren't Canadian tax rates draconian compared to US/Oregon rates?

    Why would other top players commit to Portland if they're unsure of LA returning? If olshey tells them the plan it would get out considering these agents work for multiple clients lol

    Those texas guys are moronic. It's not as big as you'd think. I believe Aldridge lives in la now anyways, which shows you how much he cares if he gave up residency in texas for California

    Could be quite possible Olshey won't even go after the marquee free agent? Maybe his first move is to trade for the marquee player as step 1, then resign Aldridge for step 2, then pick the mid level tier 2 player.

    Yes but I wouldn't be surprised if Wade has to retire in 2 years. His body is failing him. The Lakers think they have a legit shot at him actually. Doubt we do.
