    I know it's easy to say it's his right to entertain all these other teams' offers and go through the song and dance, but his rep will undoubtedly get a hit in POR if he seriously considers teams like NY/LAL and TOR.

    Seriously, dude?

    Nic definitely took a hit among the fans here when he sung so many praises of Minny and Rick Adelman. Can definitely see the same happening with LA if news of him meeting with shit teams continues to come out.

    This is a big reason I'm not taking him being "good as gone" too seriously. If he's really checking out places like Toronto, then everything we've heard to-date is complete smoke. I'm not saying he won't ultimately leave, but I think a lot of what's been reported thus far has been BS.

    He can't go to the Knicks. They absolutely suck and Carmello is "now disgusted". Bad move. However, if he wants trendous money from a a great advertisng fund, no place has more opportunity.     Yeah, he can take the LA appreciation tour, have everyone tell him how great he is. My first reaction to hearing he's interviewing with the Raps was that he was going to get an offer and then leverage it with other teams but won't everyone be offering him pretty much the same shit?

    In any case he's not going to sign with Toronto so w/e.

    somehow I'm getting the vibe that he's just seeing what he'll get from other teams, compare it to what Portland will offer and what Portland will do to improve the team.
