Dragic got $90mil. I woke up knowing Dame would get max. Then, I saw it was $120 mil and was like damn. Then I saw Dragic's deal and realized we had a steal.
I'm curious, why do you use everyone else's last name and you call Vonleh by his first name? It confuses the hell out of me!
I think you are all in line for a rude awakening. I never saw this great defense last year agsinst Gasol. Teams havent focused on him at all on offense. I have always said that i hope he proves me wrong. His jumper is better than i hoped it be.
Uh huh. How do you like that crow? Fried, sauteed with butter or reverse seared in a nice little vinaigrette.
I think it's obvious Neil had Aminu in his back pocket before he traded Batum. I'd much rather have Aminu for 7.5 than Afflalo for 12. Blazers are building a young, athletic, high-motor team, that frankly is better suited for the playoffs. I'm starting to like this Olshey guy.
I am very pleased to get a player who can play defense. And in all honesty, if all the shit hadn't gone down that has gone down, and this was our ONLY roster move, I would probably be perfectly content. It's just pretty funny in the context of LaMacapocalipse (or whatever it's called). Come on - surely even people who like this move can see that? There are no doubt a lot of national writers mocking the Blazers about now. I also wish we could get a solid all-around player. We seem to be acquiring offensive OR defensive players. I like players who can do both - like Middleton and Draymond Green. The knock on Aminu has always been that he doesn't have that many actual basketball skills - just a high motor and great athleticism.
I'm just keep it simple and call him "Vitamin". Much easier. His name sounds like some sorta drug or vitamin.
