If LMA goes to the Spurs, and we ever meet LMA in the playoffs, I guarantee Lillard will go ham on them. I know for a fact Dame will feel slighted and he will make damn sure he proves to Aldridge, once and for all, who is the better player. We have cap space to still make the playoffs and I would never count us out with Dame leading the way.
Agreed. Much rather have a team led by Dame than Aldridge (Hell, I asked this question last year whether the team was shifting to Dame). Another thing is for certain. Aldridge will be booed in Portland more than any other player in our history, and we have had quite a few dudes in our past who deserved booing. Hedo and Felton are still getting destroyed by our fans. Can just imagine the vitriol Aldridge will face?
I won't boo him. I'll just turn my back on him when his name is announced. If he leaves, he doesn't deserve me to even care enough to hate him. I also think that #12 is made the official jersey of the worst player on our team. Every year. When you are called up from the D-League, until you make your bones, you wear #12.
I wouldn't. I like LMA and even if he goes elsewhere, I hope he does well and will cheer for him (except, of course, when he's playing the Blazers).
