Aldridge hasnt even agreed to meet Lillard yet. So we don't even know if this meeting is happening.

If he doesn't agree then he's not Blazer material and we can all shut that door. I don't think he will deny Dame though

One of the reasons he is looking at other teams is Dame. This should be interesting

If you thought this drama couldn't get any stupider, the Lakers get a 2nd meeting, the Heat get a meeting for whatever reason, and Dame is trying to go talk to this dude. At this point, I really don't care if we get him back or not.

It's going to either prove he's jealous or that he's just torn. If Aldridge doesn't mind Dane, then he will have that meeting

If it were true, it doesn't necessarily mean he does not like Dame. Just that he didn't like the rumored attention he was getting.

Which is dumb. How is he gonna like the attention kawhi gets? What wade gets..phx is the only team with no other established fan favorite that's actually really good.

Wade=franchise great. Spurs already made it clear that Kawhi will be the NEW face of the Spurs, not LA. Phoenix is the only place where he could be that guy and Portland is the place where he could cement his legacy and possibly win a title and get more money while he is at it

I never really bought the LA wants more attention thing. If he wanted it in Portland, he could get it. I'm sure addidas or nike would happily make him some ugly shoes.

I am not sure I believe it. But when it does happen to other vets, it tends to go away when they go to another team. It's something about being on a team the longest and watching younger players come in and get more attention/minutes that rubs guys the wrong way. Happens in all types of businesses.

How would anyone know this and more importantly, why would Dame need permission to lobby for his team..he let Kobe visit didn't he?
