Gerald Green - Could play SG/SF Mo Williams - would make more sense to start CJ and bring Mo and Hendo off the bench. Lillard / Williams McCollum / Henderson Aminu / Green Leonard / Davis Plumlee / Kaman There's definitely enough shooters there.
That list ain't bad. It's not like we are trying to win a title, but Dame would be miserable if he didn't have any. Gotta make our star happy
We are 2 solid shooters/players away from a rosy 42-45 win outlook and we have mad cap space. I personally think tanking is overrated, and that the Houston, "lets roll with the beard and wheel and deal until it works" method is pretty sound. Quite frankly, Dwight Howard doesn't effect that team as much as people think. God I miss Trader Jack... He'd agree with me
Yes you can. You just lose...a lot. Mags, we're going to lose 50+ games this season. Accept it. It would be stupid and irresponsible for the future of this team to be competitive.
A problem with "shooters" is that a lot of times they can't do much else. But yeah...James Jones and Luke Babbit are out there.
Ugh... Luke Babbit again? Let's just sign B-Easy and be done with it. But seriously, Dorell Wright, Omri Casspi, Chris Copeland, there are options. J-Rich!!!
I'm ok leaving a roster spot or two open. After signing Pat we only have 3 spots available right now but $28 million of cap room. Pat and Crabbe are great shooters so we're not as desperate there as it might appear. Hell Pat could become our starting SG. 4 year college guy. If undrafted Dellevadova a few months later can start in the finals its certainly plausible. If we have spots available all the young undrafted rookies and best NBADL players will want to play here. Seems possible we get lucky and find a gem in the rough with one of them.
Yes, he meant Bob. However, for you whippersnappers, former blazer president Jack McCloskey was indeed known as "Trader Jack".
and if there isn't anything left we like for the price or we can't get at this time in a trade, it's a good idea to keep some capspace for trades later this yr or at the deadline next
