First - Happy 4th to everyone....with my deepest thanks to our veterans for their service & sacrifice!

Anyone got major plans? Pretty normal weekend here....red meat, tequila and the 2nd Amendment.

Planning on enjoying the 3-day holiday. Today is chores day: gym, costco to buy bbq supplies, turner's/walmart to pick up .22/9mm/5.56 nato ammo for the next range trip, and strip and clean from the last range outing.

Saturday planning on a nice hike with the dog, getting up into the hills at 5:30 around our home, then a day of grilling ribeyes, aspargus & Cadillac Margarita's. We've got a short hill climb in the evening and can view 4 or 5 local fireworks displays at once due to the terrain.

Sunday out to breakfast and then take in a movie, we've been wanting to see the remake of MadMax. After a matinee show, get a Santa Maria bbq tritip going low&slow.

Ahhhhh nothing like the good smell of a stream of aspargus urine to wake you up in the morning

A big barbecue at my local VFW. Looking forward to it. And a happy & safe 4th to all on board.

Currently watching Jaws on AMC. Fourth of July classic. Then of course the Twilight Zone Marathon.

Got my latest piece of music heaven, TC Helicon Harmony Singer Pedal, got it in the system so I'm going to play and sing, do burgers and fries, enjoy the day with my significant other and pooch. I will also remember 4ths of July passed on deployment, likewise think of the Vets and those currently on active duty. And to my fellow Yankee fans on this board or other locations lets hope our team puts out fireworks this series.

...a bunch of the family (both sides) hanging out by the pool...bar-b-q, water melon that we raided today, fishing at the pond, and being grateful for the sacrifices our forefathers made.

Holy flying cheetos, when did you catch that, a Great White I assume.....? no? yes..? or did you catch a South African Python.....?

I had a taxidermist friend in Luzianna, who not only did taxidermy with about any creature, but would share the Pics of numerous Taxidermy Conventions/Shows, to this day my favorite creature turned into a trophy was a Black Wolf, a gorgeous Wild Turkey, which made his Peacock look like a sparrow........sad to see the Wolf, but was told the Wolf died of natural old age conditions, in a Wolve's Wildlife Preserve........

When I was dreaming about being Quint from Jaws. Although if I was really dreaming about being in the movie I'd probably be Chief Brody.
