Thread drift alert - you should try to look at true EVs - if you do not need the range, they are much nicer to drive than a Prius (not that a Prius is a bad car, it is not great, however). We just got my wife an e-Golf and with the rebates it basically cost as much as a Prius - but it is, imho, a much nicer car to drive.
There was a couple reasons LA was not traded first Lillard's shot vs Houston. Getting out of the first round I beli gave management and the fans false confidence that we were close to being a contender, hence the Afflalo deal. Second they overvalued being able to pay him more, but with such a high income tax and the growing cap we lost that advantage. Lastly, season ticket sales, the team was worried what kind of message it would send trading LA after a successful season the year before. With those three things working against them they proceeded to take gamble on the roster making a good run and then returning. However, they also knew that if it failed it would be easy to purge the team of big contracts and start to rebuild around Lillard. This summer was plan B all along. Is it annoying as a fan to watch us rebuild again, of course it is but it was a move the team felt was necessary. Gamble we could contend and then resign LA to extend the window 3-5 years or gut the team and rebuild around Lillard.
It's like you have a sick ferrari, this thing is getting you laid like a motherfucker. It's expensive, and you should probably sell it, but the good times are just too good. AND THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO END. Then it shits the bed. So you drive around a hyundai for a couple years while saving up to get another ferrari.
That's why I said if not specifically WHO we are targetting. We just lost our best player 1 year after he vowed to return & finish his career as the greatest in franchise history. We're all licking our wounds. No statement other than "We can confirm Mr. Hughes is no longer with the team." Doesn't seem strange?
I need the range and actually looked at one of those. I like the hybrid option much better for the steep incline of 2 miles going home. It took some getting used to driving it but now, I'm sold on it. Toyota gives me royalties for all the advertising I do for them
At least that fairly modest man across the street is getting laid now, and not that entitled douche down on the corner lot.
