@johncanzanobft: Clippers owner/GM went to the mattresses trying flip-flop their guy. Give Balmer and Co. credit. Didn’t wave white flag… like some others.>>>>>>>>

This is a quality burn. You may not like JC but he makes a great point here.

    Are you Canzano?

DeAndre reached out to the Clippers not the other way around. But don't let facts get in the way of a Canzano smear campaign.

People still read him when they know he is just writing to stir things up? (I'm guessing here because I don't read him anymore. So predictable.) Okay, so where are the articles about how bad the Clippers GM would have been if DJ had left or how inept the Mavs GM is for not closing the deal. Then again, to expect objectivity is a mute point and why I stopped reading Clown articles a couple years ago.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Case in point, I think Neil deserves a bit of criticism, but JC can never seem to get his facts straight or connect the dots in the right order.

The best support one can give Olshey is cite Canzano criticism.

I almost question myself when both Dave and Canzano agree with me, but then again, the more ideas of mine they steal the better off they'll be. :)

And like Nik said, for all the things that I can discuss about Olshey's dealings, "going to the mattresses" after LMA said he's gone is not one of them.

If we're to believe the media on this one.... The wheels fell off the day Wes tore his Achilles. I tend to believe this theory. And if one is to believe that, as disappointing as it is (feels like a very bad dream, or at least a strong punch to the gut), there really isn't much anyone could have done to stop the train derailment.

    Say Olshey did this.

First, any team dealing with the Blazers would know our word means nothing. DeAndre is the one that went back on his. It does not matter much for him since he only has a few more contracts to deal with.

Look at the All Star lineup that went to war for the Clippers. Paul Pierce, CP3, Blake Griffin. Damian is the only one with star power like that.

Would it had been successful? No. LA made his choice. There is nothing we could have done to change that. Neil would have looked silly and desperate, similar to a drunken call to an ex.

This is stupid. Jordan is nothing like Aldridge. Is Canzano assuming that all NBA players are alike and that because ONE guy changed his mind (and actually reached out to the Clippers first, not the other way round) that all players' decisions are equally tenuous? But wait, why am I surprised that Canzano is being moronic?

DeAndre texted Blake G first, who relayed that he was having second thoughts.

Meanwhile, our best player couldn't even get the time of day from LMA when he was in the same city.

Jordan called them, saying he was having second thoughts, not telling the team for 2 plus years he wanted out. Canzano is off base on this one. As is the OP for that matter

If Canzano were GM, Pooh Jeter would have just signed his 2nd max contract with the Blazers.
