    It wasn't difficult to sell a rebuild to Paul. Paul Allen was the the last person to call LA before this process started. They had given LA a myriad of opportunities to let them know whether he was going to commit or go elsewhere. Paul specifically call him to find out where he stood.

    It wasn't a coincidence that after Ed Davis' signing there was $25.1 million dollars left. LA's cap hold was $25M. They left the window open till the last minute.

    Seems like Aldridge was wishy washy until the end, and Olshey made moves based on that.

    We probably lost a lot of opportunities because Aldridge was so wishy washy.

    This is the first wave. Everyone is worried about free agency. We are kind of in the tertiary market right now. If there were options to replace LA, other teams would be chasing those. Other teams may have waited to long in going after him.

    When LA was our best player (absent Dame), we put players around him based on his career arc... bringing in vets to complement LaMarcus. If our best player is Dame, we bring in guys who can grow with HIM. Like he did with Blake Griffin in LA.
