I can only assume you are referencing Lopez and Matthews, neither of which even received offers - and honestly - they shouldn't have at that market evaluation they received. Any player who can put the ball on the floor and finish in traffic is an upgrade. Vonleh can do that it looks like. At his age he's coachable and Meyers isn't exactly a surly guy..I think it's a young players dream to be in Portland right now instead of buried behind some old vets forever. Once they put on those pinwheels and step into their first homegame they'll get the fever!

He has greatly improved, and it's clear he's done enough that (most of) the fan base is excited about him all of a sudden, and the team is counting on him to continue the growth, enough so they've basically pushed him out there as an integral part of the future.
