Vonleh is 3 months older than Karl Anthony Towns. Crazy how young he is.

He should absolutely get minutes I would think Terry would insert him into the lineup when the team is up by 10 mid way second quarter. .

There are several videos on this page, so I ran the Find command, to search for the word "motor." It appears once on the page. If you scroll down to the bottom article, the one which starts with

2011 National Prep Showcase: Elite 2013/2014 Prospects
    November 29, 2011
    Jonathan Givony
    (third paragraph)

I've seen all his Blazer Summer League games, and he's been just as energetic as the other players. He looks like he'll become a much more versatile/rounded player than Aldridge.

Everytime I hear one of our players trying to bulk up, it makes me cringe because of what happened to Oden. Of course, Vonleh probably doesn't have the knee problems like Old Greg, and he's not coming off microfracture. But I guess that experience with Oden traumatized me a bit.

But I love hearing that he wants to trim down a bit more and wants to be quick. The way this league is going, that will be highly beneficial.

That picture of Vonleh is distorted. It appears horizontally stretched out and causes his legs to look bigger than they actually are. I'm not saying his legs aren't big, but that pic is not an accurate reflection of reality.

What I've learned of Vonleh from summer league so far:
    • Has great handles for a guy his size.
    • Good body control for a guy his age.
    • Works hard on the boards, especially on the offensive end. His huge hands and long reach help him corral the ball.
    • Holds his position well in the key, probably because of his strong base.
    • Prefers to face up, rather than backing his man down.
    • Likes taking it towards the rim.
    • Doesn't shy away from contact.
    • Has a decent shooting stroke.
    • A good athlete, but not an elite or explosive one.

Yeah, watching highlights, I'm always shocked by how thick his legs are given his agility, but this pic certainly distorts it.

He has very wide hips, or as they say down South, a big butt.

A defender trying to go around his butt is like you driving around the block. With 4 red lights.

He should work on his back-t0-the-basket skills. He's definitely got the requisite caboose to play butt-ball down low.

He likes to mix it up too. Unfortunately he needs to be "less obvious" about it. But I like how physical he is for such a youngster.

I have already compared him to a few other players, but I also can't help but think of Anthony Mason for some reason. Certainly a lot more offensive skills then Mason but something about Vonleh reminds me of him.

Not a terrible comp, actually. Mason would've fit better in today's NBA, IMO. Noah is definitely longer, though.

His hips are wider than his shoulders.
