I actually wonder if that'd be legal. Sign Wilson to $16M here for one year just cuz we have the cap, then take that $16M off his NFL deal. Basically transfer Blazers cap room into Seahawks cap room haha.

The duo of Dame and Boogie needs another scoring wing that can create their own shot.

Also, using Vonleh, Plumlee, Aminu and 2 future firsts is way too much!

How does that reflect in a game that means anything?

I'm not arguing mags..I stand by my opinion of Sheed...you said talent..I could have put on the clip of him taking over against Shaq and the Lakers in the finals game 4..just literally took over every possesion and ended with a win..Sheed was a rare talent. I like Boogie but would never sell Sheed short in the talent books.Like to see Boogie shoot like that eh?

No, no I wouldn't. I would like my big man to dominate the paint and score 20+, while grabbing 12+ boards and 2-3 blocks a game. I think Sheed's best season he was 18/8/1.5

Sheed in game 4 against the Lakers in the finals..26/13....Boogie hasn't smelled a finals let alone played against Shaq and Karl Malone. I'm a huge Sheed fan..Boogie is still growing on me although I think he'll be a game changer for Portland if we get him.

Sheed was my favorite player before Aldridge but I am realistic about talent. Sheed couldn't even hold Boogie's jock strap because he never applied himself to do so.

You are absolutely right! There would be games where Sheed would absolutely dominate opposing players, but he didn't do it on a constant basis. The consistency is what makes Webbers and Garnett's way more valuable than Sheeds

You realize how many conference finals games Sheed played in for Portland, Detroit and Boston in his career? Boogie hasn't made the playoffs yet and he's the man in Sac...what's so consistant about Boogie that Kevin Love didn't have in Minnesota..I don't buy the comparison at all mags

Yes because Sheed was the only reason why we made it there. Gotcha

Sheed was the third option in Detroit.

In Detroit there was no such thing as a first option, 2nd option or 3rd option..that's what made them so special.

Wrong... First option was always RIP, then Billups then Sheed. What made them special was their defense and no superstars. They definitely had options and the majority of plays were given to Billups and RIP.

I'd trade it for 30 players to be named later. One of them has got to end up a star...right?

Wrong...the Pistons had more different leading scorers than any team in the league..they didn't play that way..the Spurs are similar in that way. On any given night, a different guy looked to score more. I love basketball teams that use this strategy. They were an elite TEAM on defense as well. Spurs...same thing. Some things don't require a pecking order.

Prove it! I watched them as much as I watched the Blazers when they had Sheed and I remember Rip was always first option, Billups second and Sheed third. I'm looking at their box scores and you are wrong again.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/DET/2005_games.html

Rip and Chancy were the leading scorers in almost 80% of the games played. Sheed would lead, but as I already said earlier, it would be few and far between.

That's about the difference in the transfer fee Man City needs to get Paul Pogba from Juventus. I'd just use the money on that since that WOULD make a difference.
