...lol...that was over the top...but I understand how the guy feels...seems like everywhere I go there's someone with their hand out wanting to donate money to causes that may or may not properly distribute the money to where it was intended.
...as far as those "super saver cards", I've never understood why I need some bar coded plastic card ...I mean, Jesus, I'm here in your store spending my money so why must I have to present some silly assed card in order to get the store's best price?

Don't go as often as I used to. Used to do the 12 game Saturday plan. Now I go for free since my brother works for Wells Fargo and my brother in law CBS.

It was in the old stadium. From what I remember the plan for two seats cost a grand. We were in the main box on the third base side. I would have to check out the latest price to compare.

Yeah it really wasn't bad at all. Plus, parking was still reasonable. It was also cool because when the playoffs came around even though full season guys got priority. The partial ticket plans would get a Ticketmaster code so was able to get tickets a handful of days on Ticketmaster before the remaining seats went out to the public. What I used to do then was buy better seats on Ebay and put up the tickets I had to sell. As the games got closer I would actually make out better a put a few bucks in my pocket and sit in better seats.

...first time I went to NYC was in 2002?...bought my tix in advance off Ebay...3 weekend games in a row vs Seattle...on Sunday my seat were directly behind HP and about 5 rows from the field in the section with waitresses...Clemens pitched that day..still have the pics and had a helluva time. From what I remember that Sunday primo ticket was right at $500 and considering the memories and experience, I thought it was a steal.

    ...ahhh, good times.

StubHub is a decent place to get tickets. If you're not overly obsessed with where you sit the best is to wait as long as you can before the game you want to go to. You can sometimes snag some really decent seats for a reasonable price.

...me and the wife went again in 2008...she instantly fell in love with NYC just as I did, for obvious reasons...4th of July series vs the Sox...2 rows behind the Yanx dugout we watched Girardi get tossed, ARod hitting a bomb, and Gardner getting a walk off RBI single in the finale.
...spent some time with "remembermunson" and his wife as well as "giambino".
...had great seats but I've been told that most fun is to sit amongst the bleacher creatures in CF...probably will give it a try on our next visit...I have not been to the new digs yet.

In all the years and games I've been to have never done the bleacher thing. I'm sure it would be fun. Just have to make sure you don't get an obstructed seat.
