    Yeah I assumed

Pasta I know more about the Yankees and this game of baseball than you will ever know. Do yourself a favor and stop playing that ridiculous card because you have shown time and time again to be clueless.

From May 20th to July 7th Ellsbury did not play

    From July 8th - July 31st Ellsbury hit .215 17 for 79

    From August 1st - August 12 Ellsbury hit .105 4 for 38

So out of the leadoff spot that's over a month of .179 21 for 117

And for good measure prior to his May injury was riding an 0 for 10

Nope not killing the team at all.

...yup, it's Girardi's fault that Ellsbury was so poor at the plate for so long...unbelievable.

...and this just in; Girardi was also seen on the "grassy knoll" on 11/22/63.

When posts are ridiculous they tend to get pointed out. You can certainly feel free to defend your points but frankly that very rarely happens without a diatribe about how none of us played the game and are all idiots.

You do not have one critical thought about these Yankees. But you sure
know how to knock those who do not agree with your
silver lining bullshit. You are a superficial Yankee follower.
Please you know nothing about being a fan and also being critical of
your team. Positive is good, but don't ignore the shortcomings
of this team. And don't become defensive by calling out us
fans because we don't like certain things and/or players in this
organization. I do not see this team as one that does everything right.
    Sports doesn't work like that.

I can't believe "we're" still going through this rigamarole.
You kinda proved you either haven't read my various posts FROM THE BEGINNING of the season or chose to not remember.

I don't recall saying the Yanks do everything "right" and have very recently commented (once again) on the Yanks' situation approaching this recent road trip and their up coming 10 game home stand.

Maybe we should just agree that I have so far found less reasons to bash the Yanks' overral team performance through the season as some others.
    Does that sound fair?

I never said this team was going to be some kind of juggernaut .
Yes- "competitive" for the division, Yes- win more games than generally expected by most.

Toronto has gone 14-1 since the Tulowitski acquisition and have presently won 11 straight.....they have currently overtaken the Yanks for first place by a half game with help of a 5 game Yankee losing streak this past week.
Sh!t happens! What can you do? Scream and stamp your feet?

If Toronto keeps winning at this pace it won't really matter what the Yanks should have done at the trade deadline- unless you wanted them to get Tulo? Okay fine.
In the meantime as I write this, the Yanks need 2/3 in Toronto to regain 1st place with several weeks left in the season.

Your self importance is just off the charts. How you think that everything that is spoken about here is somehow about you is beyond me. Not to mention the ridiculous offense you take to anyone being critical of this team or management. Again, you somehow take it as being directed at you or some comment you made in April that nobody remembers. It would be more productive if you posted in the now and stopped with your constant what I said months ago nonsense. Plus, you went and attacked caged for his comments that weren't even directed at you. It just made no sense.

Mess, excuse me...I was replying to Cage-
It's not all about "ME"- to be fair, this recent crisis regarding the Yanks' 5 game losing streak along with Toronto rampaging has kinda emphasized how some of us choose to look at things and handle the situation. That's all. Of course I hoped the Yanks would've made some kind of "key acquisition" at the deadline......they chose not to for whatever reasons and once again the name of fairness, let's see if THIS TEAM has what it takes in the remaining season. The jury is still out on whether or not Cashman's decisions will eventually win out for the division title. One thing at a time- first win the division.

What we have here is your basic tight race as the Yanks are trying to fight off a team which has been rampaging. I can't constantly dwell on what Cashman SHOULD or SHOULD'NT have done.

All I know is.....2/3 in Toronto puts the Yanks back in first place while also cooling off Toronto a bit.

We'll see if Toronto will eventually blow this division apart.
If they continue this pace- THEY earned it.

Yes, and you tossed out insults at him for no good reason which is why I deleted your posts. That being said we will move on from that and hopefully not have to revisit this again.

TOPIC: Another Thank you to Cashman & Ownership...........

I do not direct any of my comments to anyone specifically.

I respond to how I feel toward Yankee GM & Owners.

There are people who adamantly feel I am "attacking"
them. What these people misconstrue is that I do not
agree with their 'woulda, coulda, shoulda' pie in the
sky Yankees. These people need to attack me because
they cannot stick to the topic. It is easier to do that
dance that leads to no where. I will continue to state
what I like and dislike about the Yankees. The End
    of the bullshit.
