According to Howard Beck, the majority of the King's front office wants Cousins gone

I think they noticed, but didn't really care how much the nth option did. Biebs teammates drew a LOT of attention. Other GMs realize this. Both Olshey and Stotts singled out CJ, not Biebs, as ready for prime time.

I bet you he's the only big in the league that could be that efficient even if all the other bigs were left completely wide open

I would be estatic if Biebs keeps up his efficiency as a starter. I'm quite sure it won't happen, but would love to be wrong.

It was a decent sample size last year, and even if his percentages came down by 5 points (37/50/89), he'd still be the most versatile/efficient big in the league.

I really don't think we are interested another head case. Does DC have talent yes he does but not enough to trade all those bigs for him.

We're not trading CJ for anyone short of LeBron. CJ is Neil's guy.

I'd give up Davis and Plumlee if it meant keeping CJ and one of Meyers/Vonleh. Could trade for another big or play Kaman 12 minutes a game off the bench with Aminu playing some 4.

MAGS...... I bet we could offer our whole team except Dame for Cousins and they'd say NO!

Can you back that up with some reasoning? Everything coming out of Sac says they are a couple of PR comments away from a meltdown. Meaning, they might say this wont work and trade/break it all up for something else. Its obvious the coach and Cousins don't get along. Its obvious the coach and the front office have different viewpoints. Its obvious Cousins is not happy there. Something has to give doesn't it?

If I'm Sacto, I cut Karl loose before I even think of trading Cousins. That way they cut their knucklehead quotient in two. And Karl is far more dispensable.

If you think Boogie has ego problems now, watch how he reacts to being chosen over a future HOF coach...

I can't stand the guy, but he can play. I've never been an addition by subtraction type fan. I was probably one of the few pissed when they traded ZBO.

My biggest fear with Boogie is that he'll become the next Andrew Bynum and injure himself bowling in Spain after deciding he doesn't really like basketball after all...beyond that ..he's a fuckin' beast

The problem is that nobody else would take that job...Fired after not even coaching a game? They have had like 20 coaching changes in the past 2 years as well. Easily the worst run organization in the league right now.

Cousins should be praying that he gets out of there so he can finally begin his NBA career.

Like it or not, to get an allstar like Boogie, you have to sell high on Leonard or CJ or Crabbe and hope you were right or hedge your bets and just watch them become elite players with a sense of loyalty that we can enjoy for years. Who knows? Trusting Olshey is the high road. Bitching about it would be the alternative and that's going to happen anyway. Go Blazers!

    Huh?

Karl coached them to 11 wins and 19 losses to close out the season.

It's a young man's game now..it's time for new coaches and refs, Karl, D'Antoni, Saunders,Dunleavy, Jeff Van Gundy, etc...now it's the Terry Stotts, Fred Hoiberg, Steve Kerr, Eric Spoeltra era. I like that the new generation of coaches is making a transition. Now we need new blood with the whistles too. dviss for Scott Foster all day long baby!
