Hay-Zeus Christo- Let's Hope Carlos wakes up........

that 2nd pitch for a Strike on McCann, looked like it was 9 inches outside, and skirted the RH batters box Chalk Line, .......

at least Lossagna is at 1st base, not behind the plate, or we'd be seeing Strikes a foot outside; all day/game long........

otherwise Chief Yahoo's gonna eat CC's Lunch.......ie, Batting Practice for the Tribe.....?

Currently IMO there is not an ace on this staff, but I'm loving this kid Servino.

I've got to agree, and would not be surprised, if Severino can stay healthy; He could be our #1 SP next year. ( I can't foresee Tanaka regaining the speed he lost)........

I was reading an article the other day on SP's who went from a Journeyman #4-5 SP, to the Ace of the Staff in a Year, but hell, I can't remember who the fk they were talking about, Pitchers who did as much, other than Seve........

His bad right knee was acting up on him. Just as well with the way he was pitching.

1 hit through 4 innings against a scrub who's ERA is approaching 5 is just pathetic.

I did not know CC's been getting His knee drained, I thought I heard this would be the 3rd time.......

releasing mostly blood,........not good, time for CC to retire.......

only 34, one would think CC would be in his prime at this age, instead of his decline, sad........

plus he's on the payroll thru 2017, @ 25 mil per year.......and this is not a 25 Mil $$$ SP, more like a minimum wager.....but then, with a Knee Prob like His, he really should be thinking of retiring, knees rarely if ever get better, without a replacement surgery, and I've never heard of any athlete playing with a knee replacement.........

only the great Bo Jackson had the audacity to play with a hip replacement, ie truck ball joint, damn near literally, but then Bo was un-fortunately not close to the shade of a player he was prior to surgery, .......

to bad too, cuz Bo could of been the best HB/FB, the NFL ever saw, as well as a wall climbing LF'r.........

    Good to CYA Tote, ......

I would not be surprised, like ya' said, "Not good - long term".....

I wonder how long CC will try to hang on, sadly enough in vain, IMO.....

Below is an article, I found from August of Last Year.........

    from ESPN, 05 Aug, 2014-

NEW YORK -- CC Sabathia revealed Tuesday that he had a bone spur removed from his right knee when he had season-ending surgery on his right knee last Thursday. But the 34-year-old left-hander also said that a more serious microfracture surgery has been ruled out, and expressed confidence that he'll be healthy enough to pitch for the New York Yankees next season.

    NOT........

Doctors told Sabathia he has almost no cartilage under his kneecap, and that his knee will require constant maintenance, including PRP shots and procedures to drain fluid when there is swelling. Sabathia said he will also get a stem-cell injection later this month.

"I'll have time for it to work this time, instead of trying to rush back," said Sabathia, who had the stem-cell treatment earlier this year. "I have five months. Hopefully I'm be able to have a normal offseason."

    and -

"If it's like this, I can deal with it," he said. "I don't think there's any reason I shouldn't be able to tolerate it and pitch."

Sabathia said doctors told him the bone spur was near his ACL, but that the ligament itself was fine. Still, the feeling was that the spur contributed to the discomfort Sabathia was feeling in his knee, and he said he already feels better.

Obviously CC and His Dr's, were not so lucky........sadly enough, What I'd give to see the Sabathia of 2001-2012

Been distracted. Traded in the Z for a new Tacoma Sport, been busy doing mods. So far I replaced the stock grill with the TRD Pro grill (throwback design like the land cruiser), twin step Nerf bars and windows tinted. Another 2 weeks to go before the ICON vehicle dynamics stage 6 racing suspension (3" lift) and XD monster2 wheels and Nitto Terra grappler g2 285/70R17's. After that will start on the body armor and off road led lights. Nice thing about those high altitude rocket flights....the up to 20 mile off road recovery experience, lol! Going to learn from past experience of bird hunting at dusk/night.....Mount a UV flood light. Serves 2 purposes, airframe/chutes glow and you can see the scorpions.

Really nice, unless the game turns this Yankee team is on the verge of losing 5 of 7 to the God Damn Cleveland Indians. Hang your heads in shame team and pray Toronto loses. If you can't win straight forward maybe you can back in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jumping Jesus Christ.
