dviss..I think you're comparing hate unfairly. Yes, there are still a lot of folks carrying hatred and fear around and there are white racists, actually racists of many ethnic backgrounds. America has become a melting pot. As for the Irish, my forefathers hated each other for religious differences. My grandmother was Lakota Sioux. She preferred to just be called American. You know history and it's ugly. We all know this. There are a lot of Irish cops here. A lot of people hate cops, so they hate white irish cops as well as any other cops.
