High on my "shit list" today is the moron in Apopka Florida owner (permitted) of King Cobras, one who escaped. Florida. The reptile is an 8 footer, highly venomous, and law enforcement is going door to door in the neighborhood warning people. So far charges are not pending but to me this is an example of someone whom when making a mistake end results in 5 battalions of people having to get their chestnuts out of the fire.
Quit a few years ago, a guy here in L.A. had bought a Spitting Cobra; and shipped the damn thing in a box via UPS. Once delivered, to His Enemy, (ex-friend), the box was opened, and when it was the Cobra leaped out of the box, pissed as hell, spit all over the place. Somehow, the guy who opened the box, eluded being spit on, especially dodging several spitting attempts at his eyes........... The guy who shipped the Cobra, is still sitting in a Federal Prison..... serves the jackass right........ WTF - ever happened to old fashioned, fisticuffs; or better yet, verbal diplomacy to settle affairs......

A couple of years ago in this area a guy and his whatever other had a python they did not secure for the night. The damn thing roamed the house and killed either one or two small children. Guy blamed their death on the "stupid snake" Back up pal, who was the stupid owner that failed to secure the reptile. Saw a show on Netflix one time on the perils of "exotic" pets and some of their owners who live in dream worlds. If exotic pet ownership is your bag that's fine, just make sure to keep them under best control possible.
Oh I will indeed, but if you ever meet Rick, (I've known Rick now for 13 yrs, and Yeah, he's a ol' buddy, with emphasis on OLD........ If your ever lucky enough to meet Rick in person; DO NOT say Yes, when He offers you a Cup of Java.........cause he uses Prep-H in His Coffee in lieu of Creamer, and Budweiser in His morning Wheaties, not milk..........
