    ...I was never really a Pats hater but can't stand their fans because they're cut from the same neurotic cloth as Sox fans...but this whole thing really disgusts me.

    ...Goodell is toast.

    It's really ridiculous. The former aide that setup her server is going to plead the fifth. He wouldn't come to that stance on his own. Why would he?

    Don't know if you guys watch preseason but the Jets are on NFL Network. I'm a Giant fan so I am watching the Tigers/Royals game. Sorry to interrupt your conversation.

    meaningless preseason game..... at the half 6-6.
    Can't tell how these Giants will fare this season.
    Many are picking them for last place in their division.

    They're better than Washington but I don't see anyway they're better than Dallas or Philly.

    I agree and I know Eli got us 2 but I'm not convinced that he is elite. I have seen good Eli and bad Eli.

    I look at it this way. As a franchise QB the Eli era brought two Super Bowls. You can't ask for much more then that unless you're a Pats fan.

    Giants under the Eli era were as good as the franchise ever was.
    They were a joke for years and years.
    Parcells era was also successful but they weren't as QB driven as the Eli teams.
    Their long, time consuming scoring drive vs the Bills in the Super Bowl with 3rd down conversions and without a penalty was almost...astounding.
    Like to see them try and pull that off again.

    I worry about their defense this year and there's also offensive line concerns. If they can protect Eli has can certainly do some damage with Beckham, a healthy Cruz and Randle. The tight ends aren't bad and the running game is decent as well. In other words they have the potential to put up points but like last year there's no moral victories in losing to Dallas 38-31.

    Wait what??? I just checked the box scores and Tebow is with the Eagles now...wtf I thought he was pretty much done, btw Giants won 12-9, Whoopee!!
