...would not be surprised if the coach directed that those 2 players do that...HS football in Texas is life or death.

Those kids should never be allowed to play again, pay for the refs medical expenses, and pay for lost wages/damages the ref should get... don't know about jail time... but trained athletes doing illegal hits from the back against a non-player should never be accepted and punished harshly

"The first thing we want is that those two kids never play football again."

Wayne Elliott, Austin Football Officials Association secretary

What about the Coaches, as well.......???

Spearing the Ref in the back, WTF........I only hope the Ref does not require Back or Spinal Surgery, I haven't heard or read, what the outcome is with the Ref's injuries???? If required, let these fks use a toothbrush to clean toilets for the rest of their lives, for "fair compensation" to earn the pennies to pay for it.........

Big Difference, the "Longest Yard" was set place in Prison, not a H.S. Football Field......

there's a thin veil b/t reality in Comedy, and reality in breaking laws....but, its there non-the-less.....

If we saw this in a movie we'd all be laughing. I'm just saying is was a poorly delivered gag....the ref didn't die so lets not destroy these kids lives. This was not attempted murder. No collegiate team would touch them anyway, so their football careers are over.

Nice point Tom.....your right, I more than blind side clipped several buddies, one in particular, my neighbor. Nothing like getting away with occasional clips or chop blocks, to put this guy in a mud hole ditch.....
The fkr would cuss me the entire day.......

After 2 games of no Ref whistles, I finally was penalized, and never got away with it again..............

Some of the best of times, are had in Frat Houses.......from my own experience, though never a Frat, yet that didn't keep me out of 'em for weeks on end.......

I'll assume the love tap is sarcasm
Couldn't stand frats nor the concept of paying someone to be your friend... Seemed just like an excuse to act infinitely... Just my 2 cents
