OK, saw that Nelson Cruz hit his 40th HR last night for Seattle & it got me wondering how Can was doing...

    545 at bats, .279 avg, 15 HR, 62 RBI, 70 Runs...

If Cruz can 40 on the same team, what, exactly is wrong with Cano? No more 'roids? Bigger field?

Why can Cruz have better numbers with fewer at bats?

Make me glad we didn't get that noose around our neck

Cruz is probably running on the fumes of whatever he was on. Was Cano doing JP4, who knows, he'll get paid, grow his beard, and unlike Felix will never see a "Canos Court".

...gotta believe that Cano's underperforming in addition to that idiotic contract he was given had a lot to do with Seattle firing their GM.

...he showed what was most important to him when he said he felt "disrespected" when the Yanx offered him 7 years/$175 (actually a greater average annual value of $25 million than the Seattle deal)
...he also said later that he felt homesick because there were no Dominicans in Seattle...gee Robbie, that never occurred to you when you decided to go there?

...Cano could have retired as the greatest Yankee 2Bman ever, had a plaque in Monument Park, and possibly a plaque in the HOF...but he opted for money instead.

...I've said it a 100 times; "The 3 strongest human emotions are; 1. greed 2. fear ...................3. and greed."

Who knows what his problem is. Last year and this year the power numbers are certainly down. Last year he at least hit for average but this year he's way off his career pace. He has idiotic dollars guaranteed for the rest of his career so I guess good for him. I mean when it's all said and done he will have made over $300 million dollars.

He will run out of excuses next year though. He better have a big year. It will be hard to use the stomach problem and dead relative angle again as to why he's not performing. All and all though that Seattle team is lacking in areas so it hasn't been all Cano's fault. They have an ace pitcher they haven't built a rotation around and outside of Cruz, Cano and Seager the lineup is a bit pedestrian.

I don't doubt Cruz has still been Juicing, never doubted He did any thing during his suspension, other than to find other masking agents, to hide his doping......

as for Cano, that's what the fk gets. He could of been a Yank for life, one who would of found great respect, (with the numbers and fielding he did so adeptly in NY), but instead will go down in History as the Rat who swam, when the going got good.......not bad.......He's a fkn fraud....

For Cano, the Emerald City became the Peridot City.......and he made his own bed.......
