listen to former players, and it doesn't matter the sport, carl banks said the other day, 'when you're in a weak division, the team that plays the game fundementally sound towards end of season, will take division! another errant throw by headly in a big game, how many has that been in last month?
If the players on this Yankee Team score as poorly with women as they do in baseball games they are in gig trouble. Even if they make the playoffs they'll most likely be one and done or flee in three. Every time I watch I hope they'll turn it around but things just don't change.
Can you comprehend six runs in the first inning? Seriously, I'm not entertaining this stupidity again when the losing is annoying enough. Your continuous thread hijacking with this shit has reached the point of being enough. It stops for a couple of days then your only contribution is to repeat the same nonsense. I find it to be done on purpose and it's not appreciated.
...how many batters did Boston "brush off the plate"?....yet they still won the game.......very strange.
Or the team with the best record in the AL who is clearly better will win the division. I swear you can't actually be this clueless.
This is now the 5th time in the last 6 games where we only had 1 inning of offense. 3-2 over the White Sox (all runs were in the 3rd) lost 5-2 to the White Sox (both runs coming in the 4th) Won 2-1 over the White Sox (both runs scored in the 6th) Lost 5-1 Boston (lone run scored in the 1st inning) Losing 7-4 Boston (all 4 runs scored in the 1st) A one inning team, yeah....we'll go real far in the PS.
What a friggin gem of a contract Ellsbury's is going to be. A new president will just be completing a term by the time it's over.
and now they are in the 7th inning and still have not been able to tack on some extra runs.......they have done this throughout the year. This team just does not have any 'killer instinct'. Too passive for my taste. One inning and that's it folks!
If codeb has an issue he can speak to me about it. I mod this board and what I see is just constant thread hijacking which I like I said is not appreciated and I'm no longer tolerating. I entertained it long enough which I shouldn't have. I'm done with it. If that's an issue I suggest you go elsewhere.
thread hijacking? really mess if you can't handle the yanks losing, and a poster who has a different opinion, i suggest you go elsewhere!!!!!! you have NO RIGHT to threaten another poster because you are a mod. i said NOTHING about YOU, or your opinions prior to your outburst directed at me, what is this , you act like the ole southern cop when a driver from another state drives through his county.... you want everyone to see things your way? thats BS... what i say i feel, u don't agree, IGNORE!
Mitchell has had nothing since he got hit in the face. He's still young so who knows but what's happening with his is certainly not good.
If you want to be gone keep it up and you can be gone. When I continuously ask nicely for the nonsense to stop and it now reaches the point of just sheer disrespect there's not much else I can do. I've explained it to you constantly. An opinion is one thing. Repeating the same thing over and over regardless of the context of what's going on in a game, a thread or conversation is simply nothing more than thread hijacking. Nobody appreciates it and I'm sorry for your self importance but these aren't the Sportstwo New York Yankee Pasta Boards. Like I've told you in the past the fact that you had issues on the New York Rangers board and now here should perhaps make you take a moment to try and figure out why. If not then you don't really care and just enjoy annoying others which is worse. You weren't threatened which is clear as day. I told you what you're doing and told you it's no longer being accepted.
Yeah well I'm getting sick of all of them except Wilson/Betances/Miller. If the Astros win tonight it cuts it down to a 2.5 lead for HFA in the wildcard.
They're mostly minor league fodder except for the three you mentioned. Shreve had a period of being decent but he then went down the drain. Mitchell I feared this would happen to after what happened to him. He either gets over it or it ruins a career. It's as simple as that. All in all I've never seen a group of guys out of the pen continuously not able to get anyone out.
Once again we witness a spectacular outing from the Pen coupled with an exemplary play from our 3rd baseman. Oh what a joy to behold.
