We really have enough bigs IMO. We need a SF. It's our weakest position.

Don't think Lamar ever had the ability to create his own shot like Simmons appears to have.

Not the next Bennett but tanking IS for losers:wink:

There's no doubt in my mind Ben will b good, question is how good? He is very Batum-ish w/ a few differences (i.e. length & not a very good rebounder bc of this, weak perimeter game/shot, ect.), Ben will never b a good rebounder in the NBA but w/ his perimeter shooting, all he has to do is become respectable (which I believe will happen, he'll never b Klay Thompson though on O) to keep defenses honest (this will b huge & when this happens is when Ben will flourish/turn the corner). He moves (controls speeds well too) well laterally & up the court but it's his mental he's GOT to become consistent w/ & increase (he's says he wants to b 1 of the top guys, right now I question that bc of his effort on the court); he's got crazy talent & knows how to play the game well/some good instincts (not all the time but most of the time), for him to become elite, he's got to get his mind right (gotta have heart/mind like Wes), IF he doesn't... he's got so much talent he'll end up almost exactly like a bad rebounding, much less perimeter shot-making, non-French Batum.

Croatian. They've also got Luka Doncic in the pipeline behind him and Saric and Hezonja ahead of him. They're pretty talent-rich per capita.

His idol is Toni Kukoc, who was also a lanky SF:

Speaking of Saric... I wonder if Philly will look to deal his rights this season.

Ya lets draft on need rather than best player available because it's worked out so well for us in the past.

I loved players like Kukoc and Odom. Tall long PGs....... Thats why I think I like MCW from the Bucks so much....... and maybe why I've had a bromance on Batum for the past 8 years!

If MCW can ever learn to shoot.. Damn. He would be an all star.

Odom had plenty of ability to create anything. His pot habit just sucked all the motivation out of him. Sad because he had insane skills.

We need Poeltl. One more white center should make MM's head explode.

Sure with Sabas' kid was a lot bigger. How much fun would that be?

Wait... Ben Simmons is an Aussie? No thanks.

Patty Mills has done all right. And then there is that Bogut guy. And [okay, I really didn't know this] Kyrie Irving.

Patty wasn't the #1 overall pick. Bogut has been extremely injury prone and really hasn't lived up to being a #1.

Kyrie...... what? He has an American accent though :/
