My gut still says that she's a lesbian and they had an arrangement from the beginning.

Riiiight. The "dirty secret" is that they behave like republicans.

 

I think it's more likely she swings both ways.....kind of a national Kate Brown. And according to the tales, she only gets pissed at Bill's philandering is when it makes national news. Otherwise she doesn't care. I agree with the arrangement thing. Web Hubbell is supposedly Chelsea's real father. Great stuff. Enough for several Hollywood movies.....

 

It's kind of like House of Cards..... but a little different.

I actually question whether Bill actually did much, if any, of the policy making. I could totally see her behind the scenes making decisions. She's the driven one. He strikes me as kind of a bubba.

 

The Democratic version of Dubya and Cheney, except they were legally married to each other and Bush and Cheney weren't.

 

That's the funny thing about Bush.... I never really thought he had much of a hand in his decisions. It looked more like Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Ashcroft were the dudes calling the shots.

 

But I think a fair part of HOC is based on The Clintons

That was my point. Dick Cheney was the shadow president. Even more so than Hillary. But probably not by much...
