6 months after moving were still digging out, ie unpacking boxes, we gave up on, & left stored in a room full of boxes.
Mostly old archived Newspapers of Major Sporting Events, going back to the mid 60s. Old Magazines, Yearbooks, and tons of baseball cards, a shit load of autographed pics, more than a few balls, a couple bats too.

Anyone here make it a habit to always get a Team Yearbook, upon one's first game.

It's what memories are made of, saving your tix stub, getting the a.m. paper, for the games boxscore; scorecard complete, autographs obtained if possible, and a Yearbook to always remember by.

BTW- does anyone have any 1990s-2010; or 60s, and 70s? Is do you want to sale them????? (If your like me, I sale nothing). I'm still digging for My Game Scorecard, and Program specifically handed out only One Day; at YS, for: "A Day To Remember." If I can ever find it, I'll post it also........

Rick, instead of breaking out the Looking Glass, you can click on the Pic, and blow it up on your P.C. so you can read the fine print........(don't forget to put an X by your name)........

Great stuff Rob, and I'd say the ultimate is, You're not a true Yankee fan unless you can name all 12 of the players in the 1st photo. Hey, I'd love it if there was any way you could send me an 8x10 or perhaps even an 11x14 copy of that photo. I don't have a printer. It would be greatly appreciated. And you asked me sometime back if I'd like any of your baseball cards & yes I would if you have an extra's of either Willie McCovey or Willie Mays. I live on SS disability but I can send you a few dollars if necessary. BTW: I was planning on sending you something also, as soon as I could get up town to make copies. That you my friend.

Consider it done Rick......Can you PM me your address?? I've got it somewhere still in stacked boxes, from prior Mail I've received from you. I had your Home Address in my old PC also, which was replaced last year, and I need to add it to my email Contacts anyway.

6 months latter (after moving), I've got one big room full of boxes to the ceiling that needs un-packing; of Baseball Memorabilia, and other stuff, (Newspapers, Scorecards, Autographed 8X10s, Magazines from the 60s et al). I just began working on that room, yesterday when I came across 3 of several Yanx Year Books.

Give me the better part of the week, and I'll have everything ready to Mail you, on My dime, no need to pay me a cent, as I owe you the favor, from that big CD pkg..........

In that 1957 photo of the Mick, I'm still amazed at the field dimensions. Just incredible.

And seeing the monuments in center field really takes me back. I can still see Bobby Murcer going around the monuments looking for the ball.

or- Mays had he not of played in the worst of all Polo Grounds, and Candlestick, where the wind blew like hell, with nothing but chain link for an OF Fence.......

...yeah, they say that between losing 3 years to the war and playing as a RHed batter in YS, Joe Dimaggio would have easily had 500+ HRs.

The record books would certainly look a lot different for guys like Mantle, Mays, Feller, DiMaggio, Williams etc.

And hears where Tom (Totus) would ask "Who's this ETC fella guy?)
