Photos were taken by the great Bruce Ely. He's an award winning photographer who recently left the Oregonian and joined the Blazers.
Good to see I've been following him on instagram for a while and was wondering if that was him sent from a phone you've probably never heard of
Sly, I honestly was late to work because I traveled in from NY.......... would have loved to come up there and meet some of the geeks.
I'm wearing the 1977 hat. Shameless plug since I know the guy who sells them http://www.culturalblends.bigcartel.com/product/1977-blk-blk
This was is and always will be awesome! You guys were all great and it was really cool to meet you all...I wish I'd had more rest before the event so I could have taken more individual time to talk with everyone but I'm coming off a 12 hour Sat night graveyard shift and my son basically propped me up and brought me to this event. The game was the best! I got to see Crabbe, Lillard and CJ just take this one at the end with shooting but what amazed me all night was defense...everybody is playing defense. Nobody on the Jazz got a layup it seemed all night! We owned the defensive boards and smothered a good young Jazz team...Sly..I can't thank you enough for your part in putting this together! My son and I loved the seats! I'm hoarse from cheering and my palms are slightly sore from clapping loudly all night! Aloha!
I'd think about trading my Greg Oden Blazers bobblehead with box for some of those. Hell, I'd possibly leave the white twist tie around his knee. Edit..not lying
I believe that's a very clear photo of Harry's Raincoat and seriously regret not getting the opportunity to shake his hand...quality S2 p0ster!
Hppy 9th birthday young dude! October makes really smart people! My son's will be next week! Planned it that way! I think your dad is a good guy!
My wife bought me some unlicensed Oden shirt that said "Got Oden" like got milk. It's in my closet still. I'll where it in 5 or 10 years when it doesn't feel like wearing a shirt that says "Got Herpes" Maybe
