Ahh Thank you, Now Im not so lost. No worries, I got it now. I would like to see or know if there is an updated report. CJ is def. surging towards the higher end of this list I would think. Maybe even crack the top 80 on another week or two. Is this just a one time annual thing prior to the start of the season, or does anyone know if they keep updating throughout the season? As of now, I DEF. feel CJ is our next/Second All star in the making.
Wow, I'm surprised he's that high. He's now 34 and hasn't averaged 20 ppg or had a PER => 20 in five years. I know those are offensive stats, but ZBo is not exactly known for his defense. BNM
Really? He feels a little too Jamal Crawford 2.0 for me. I think he's a premier sixth man/fill in starter. But I think Leonard or vonleh have a higher shot of becoming an all star
But, but, CJ is putting up the points and the others aren't... not that they wont eventually and don't get me wrong, I just bought a Leonard Jersey, he WILL become an Allstar. I was speaking of this years potential and how CJ seems to have made the biggest jump so far. I think 4 years from now, we have a potential to have 3 all stars. If CJ is consistent, I think he will be better than Jamal. Plus, I would think the 6th man of the year would make the top 80 regardless of what team he is on?
Just curious, WHEN does Leonard become an All-Star and who does he surpass (assuming we don't know who retires and can't predict which future all-star big men are currently playing high school ball)?
Dirk & Duncan retire. LMA loses his touch. Leaves room for Meyers. ... or more like Meyers pushes them out.
According to ESPN there are at least 13 teams in the NBA without a player better than Lillard. Boston, Brooklyn, Dallas, Denver, Lakers, Magic, Suns, 76ers, raptors, jazz, wolves, Detroit, Indiana.
22 players left. LA and Lillard still to be ranked. Wonder which one goes higher? Players left: Al Jefferson Jimmy Butler Lebron James Kyrie Irving Kevin Love Stephen Curry Klay Thompson Dramond Green James Harden Dwight Howard CP3 Blake Griffin Marc Gasol Mike Conley Chris Bosh Greg Monroe Anthony Davis Damian Lillard Kevin Durant Russell Westbrook DeMarcus Cousins Kawhi Leonard LaMarcus Aldridge John Wall
Dwight in the top 22? I question that. I think he has regressed a lot in the last two years and He has never had that killer instinct type of top 20 player mindset.
Down to top 15 and still no Lillard. I would think he's up soon can't see them putting him in the top10. Can't see LaMarcus there either; unless taking all the meetings got him national attention? It is interesting seeing Draymond Green at #19, between Mike Conley and Kyrie Irving. He was #120 last year. Hopefully we have a couple young guys make the leap this year, not to #19 but if we can get one in the top 100, another in the top60 we could be on the right path of building a long term contender.
List now stretches to 19 adding the Hawks, Bulls, Heat. Wouldn't expect to see many more teams added to that list. The only real possibilities are the Wizards (Wall), and maybe the Kings(Cousins). I feel like ESPN really undervalues a lot of our other guys, so it will be interesting to see how they justify us being a better team than possibly all the aforementioned teams, with the exceptions of the Wizards, Hawks, Bulls, Mavs.
Though I don't agree with it,. I fully believe the media frenzy will get him 9th spot. I also dont agree Lillard is currently in the top 15...yet. Though thats awesome they think so.
Kawhi Leonard is not a top 10 player. Comes in at #8. Take him off the SA system and I don't think he comes anywhere close. smh.
