So why aren't you on the Warriors' forum? Also, what did Seattle ever do to you?

Seattle blows you fruity kisses... :cool2:

Then I am your sworn enemy. If we ever meet in person, I will erase you from the face of the Earth. The only trace you leave here will be faint memories of green and gold eliminating your precious black and scarlett red from distant memories everlasting...

BTW...I'm a sonics-to-blazers convert and I would like to keep supporting the 'zers. Is that ok with you?

That's up to you, but I would understand if you hated the Blazers because of the past rivalry.

I visit Seattle often. My college roommate lives in Renton. I have a group of buddies there. When we go out at night ans meet other people and I say I'm from Portland they all are a bunch of aholes and immediately snicker, say Portland sucks and go into big brother mode. When I ask people from Seattle if they root for the blazers now, I get an overwhelming amount of nos.

They are a bunch of douchebags that can choke on a fat bag of dicks.

I've never understood the Portland-Seattle rivalry (but I'm young and growing up the Sonics sucked and we sucked more), you have to be nuts to believe Portland can even hold Seattle's jock as a city. Just a lot more to do up there, both are filled with asshole citizens but I enjoy spending time in Seattle far more than Portland.

Also PNW teams for life (besides the rivalries because fuck the Huskies and Beavers...)... California anything can go sink into the ocean as far as I'm concerned. FUCK THAT STATE.

    And then you say....

    And...

That's the reason why. That attitude. The "we're better than you" attitude that we get. We used to get it ALL THE TIME from Husky fans.

Fizzle, I'm honestly sorry that you've had that experience near Seattle. Seriously, if you'd have hung with me and my bros In Tacoma and Renton, it'd be the exact opposite. I lived near Portland for a couple years (Salem) and ya know what? I like Portland just as much - if not more than - Seattle. Maybe it's bc I'm more of a small-town guy, but whatever. I say fuck small-minded idiots who think they live in a bubble; all my friends are of the same thread.

Fuck husky "fans" and all the "big brother" bullshit. Take it from me - even though I'm on the right coast now - not everyone there is that shallow and shitty. Justy sayin...

Besides, I always thought of the Sonics-Blazers as just a fun I-5 rivalry, not a nasty rivalry...

I got a 12 flag hanging on my flagpole. To me it is a symbol about community supporting the team. I loved seeing all those 12 flags in Santa Clara on Thursday. The more you hate the Seahawks/12s/Seattle, the happier I feel.

I live in Southern Oregon and am closer to San Fran than I am to Seattle, why should I like the Seahawks? Nobody liked them down here 5 years ago, and still most people don't. I only like the Mariners because Ichiro was a pretty cool guy when I was a kid. Looking back at it I should have been an A's fan.

I'll tell you the state I hate. Oklahoma. On the ESPN Sonic board, I used to say we should get an admiral at the Bremerton submarine base to nuke Oklahoma. Those fucks got me banned. Just for that, we're going to double-nuke them. We'll get that little suburb of Tulsa, too, and its one movie theater. And the heart of its culture, the unemployment building. Where all Tulsans meet every day.

I once PROVED it was Oklahoma's fault for the development of the Supersonic Transport, the SST, being abandoned by the U.S. government and Boeing. So it was Oklahoma who ruined the Sonics name. Also, I proved that it was Oklahoma's stupidity that caused their great drought during the Depression, the Dust Bowl. Good times on the Sonic board as they lay dying, waiting for Okie buzzards to swoop in and eat them. Okie posters became the majority in the last year in Seattle.

It is what it is, I just dont remember meeting many seattle fans growing up late 90s around Portland. Niners predominantly, then Raiders, then Broncos fans. Seahawks weren't even on TV.

I lived in the Bay Area until I was 10 so been a niner fan since birth, through thick and thin. I just don't get that vibe from the Seattle fans.

I'm getting tired of the raiders bandwagon fans coming back out of nowhere now that they are playing well again. So annoying.

Every HCP down here is probably getting their old Raider jerseys out of storage, haven't seen Raider gear in a few years.

Might as well add the Steelers, Cowboys, LA Kings, Heat and Bulls too now.
