    Depends on how funny they actually are. Don Rickles ate shit for the last decade on Letterman, Conan, etc. The Polak over there is doing this and the Jew in the back is telling the black guy to do this... in fifty years Dave Chapelle's white guy voice might be just as flat. Hard to say.

    There are several cultural critics doing a middling to poor job of this at the moment, like Gavin McInnes, Lauren Southern, Joe Rogan, Milo Yiannopoulos, and Richard Dawkins' clumsy Twitter doppelgänger. People criticizing victim culture without also participating in it.

    I think Sam Harris is the brightest of the bunch but he really doesn't have time to address it often enough.


    As an aside, The Oqie Show and TACS are beyond resuscitation.

    Joe Rogan seems like the best of the bunch. I've heard that Gavin guy on the free weekly hour long podcast Anthony gives out in the rare instances I'm bored enough to listen to his crap these days and he seems like a real tryhard douchebag. I know of that Milo guy and you can just tell he's in it for the clicks and comes off as very fake.

    I haven't listened to the Opie and Jimmy show, but I have heard bad things, and Anthony is a complete mess that is washed up.

    McInnis and Yiannopoulos and some others occupy a space that Dennis Miller was in a decade or two ago. They realized that in their profession being counter-culture meant pretending to be conservative and watching people lose their minds over it. I don't know what predicated McInnis' ousting from Vice but apparently he got to be too much of whatever he is to be around (not that Vice is perfect). Yiannopoulos is a shit disturber who is in it for his own amusement.

    O&J is a trainwreck and if (edit: resident coot) had a live broadcast it would be TACS.

    I kind of stopped watching that Vice HBO show because the hipster hosts they have are unwatchable, and the website is a complete trainwreck these days, so I'm kind of shocked that Gavin guy had anything to do with it at this point.

    Not even Norton can prop it up? I had to stop listening to the show several years before Anthony was even fired because he was so far off the reservation, and it's even worse now that he's cooped up in his hugbox with his yes men and teenage girlfriends.

    Lastly, I find it highly ironic/hypocritical, that you'll sit there and scream racist on every white person around, but you'll give a free pass to Dave Chappelle for his racist acts; oh but its okay if its racist, "It was damn funny".

    For all the bullshit you spout off in here about racism, you certainly do not help the situation at all.

    Pete Davidson is the best thing about O&J right now because he hearkens back to when comedians would come on and lay waste to everyone in studio. When he's not around and they don't have Colin or someone call in the show is a comedy black hole (not a Sherrod joke but he is also a black hole). Apparently the Stangles are gone in a few months but I have low expectations that Opie will let everyone off the leash since he is an oversensitive power hungry hack. Jimmy has been in worm mode since the break-up and wallows in the morning zoo show they've become.

    Side note: Killin' Them Softly came out almost 16-years ago. Using it as an example of modern racial comedy is a stretch.
