Saw this the other day and it is really unfortunate, I was looking forward to seeing what he can do. Judging by what I've heard (Things like Meyers saying he should have been a lottery pick), it sounds like he can bring something to the team that will help us out, maybe even crack the rotation. Hopefully he can get out there sooner than later.

Hopefully he doesn't end up needing surgery on it. I'd rather they take their time with the situation as well.

No reason to rush him back. If he needs surgery, get it done. If he needs rest, let him rest (or make him rest lol).

He is on the slow track for development anyway. I don't think this will make a lot of difference for him. Hopefully he can get back into practices soon though. Depends on what kind of surgery.

Hmmm... Maybe it was my work PC having serious lag (Even though everything else was working super fast). Weird. Thanks Nate!

The last time I saw the word "setback" it was about Oden. Since coming out of high school a year ago, Alexander has had calamity after calamity. Playing too physically can give you a career full of injuries.

I am very wary whenever they use the term "bone bruise." It is a catch all term for a condition that can be very severe.
Mark Texiera had a bone bruise this year and the Yankees brought him back too quickly and it got worse. He eventually got
Xrays that showed a broken leg. I'd rather they be careful than sorry.

Could just be debris or bone spurs that need shaved and cleaned out. That's pretty common with big guys. Just hope it's not meniscus deterioration.

Too bad. Noah Vonleh has been Mr. Invisible so far this year. He's played 35 minutes, the equivalent of a full game for a starter, and has 4 points and 4 rebounds.

Yeah it's evident he has a long way to go. Better not to expect anything significant from him before next season.

Yeah we might see someone else take his minutes very soon. I'm all for developing him but if he's struggling I think its harmful to keep putting him in positions where he fails. It sounds odd but when he comes back I could see Hendo getting all of Vonleh's minutes. We have plenty of 2-4 positional versatility; slide everyone else up a spot.
