Did you really just use the term "disbelievers" to describe people who don't think we're a better team than last year? I think the term "normal" is better fitting.

BNM, it was clearly started by Eric to taunt anyone who had, or continue to have lowered expectations going into this season, and their are many, many obvious reasons that they do. Yet Eric decides to create a thread called "So NOW do you understand what I'm talking about???", after one win, and say things like:

So? Seriously, because he whines a lot he doesn't have to play by the rules? I didn't know we had superstar calls in this forum. This thread is against the rules. He knows it and so do you. It should be deleted.

And that's the difference. Eric's thread wasn't aimed at anyone specific. This thread is. Just look at the wording in the title. I don't necessarily disagree with anything MM wrote (don't necessarily agree with it either, but that's not the point). What I object to is starting a new thread for the sole purpose of mocking a specific forum member. That's against the rules (not to mention petty and childish).

I pretty much agree with all of the above, but I'll take all of the "fools gold" wins we can get.

The Blazers are going to be all over the place this year simply because they're a young team. They're not going to get the benefit of the whistle most nights so there's not much use in whining about it.

Now, all of that said, it would be nice if MM and Kingspeed didn't have to go with the over-the-top emo crapola all of the time.

 

So you've again overlooked the parts where Eric specifically insulted HCP, MM and Nik.. Try reading it one more time. If you can't see it by the third time you've read it, I guess you never will. Cheers.

I SPECIFICALLY objected to this thread because it was STARTED for the SPECIFIC purpose of MOCKING another forum member.

Okay, I think I'm starting to understand.

So creating a thread to taunt everyone who disagrees with you = okay
Creating a new thread that targets a larger group, and then targeting individuals later in the thread = okay
Creating a new thread to mock said taunting = not okay (unless you taunt 2 or more people)
Mocking the taunting within an already existing thread = okay
Insulting within an already created thread = okay

So it sounds like the major sticking point is creating a thread. The actually substance of the posts themselves is secondary.

Jinx did call me and some other guys out in his thread. To be honest, MM didn't say anything bad in his original post. He has a rep for starting stuff, but nothing wrong going on here.

 

Calling people out isnt a personal attack. For instance if i stated your lines were crooked the last time you mowed my yard. There is nothing personal, im just calling out your shitty work.

 

BNM has a hard on for my posts. I get that, and think it's cute.

The only issue with the thread is the title. I didn't call anyone out, or taunt them.... (somehow ok with mods), like Eric did in his thread.

But in reality, this IS what I've been talking about. I don't think they will win many games.

 

Ok we lost. No one in here thought we were going to win every game and once we have a loss I'm not sure there needs to be a thread after that specific loss. Just like there probably doesn't need to be a thread for a singular win. That's what the game thread is for... So lets just both threads die... There is my one and only post in this thread.
