Through 5 games, he is a top 4 candidate alongside Curry, Westbrook, and Drummond. Let's keep track of the race in this thread

I have a bad feeling about this... had anyone else started this thread, I was going to be okay with it. But Jinxspeed is like the Madden cover jinx! :MARIS61:

The question shouldn't be if he'll win the MVP.

It should be by how many votes.

CJ 9th in scoring! But according to many, we have only one NBA quality starter. LOL!

I loathe myself for saying this but......trying to be as objective as possible, if those scoring averages held steady throughout the year, the most deserving MVP candidate IMHO would be LeBron, for sacrificing his stats to include his teammates. But then, he can afford to do that with the team he's on.....

No; he's not sacrificing anything; the dude has played more minutes than guys like Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, and David Robinson did in their entire careers.

I'm a LeBron fan but his MVP days are likely over. The regular season is a grind and he's trying to win titles not individual awards. He's resting and pacing himself.
