Why would they, though, when Uncle MarAzul will provide them for free from his armory?

Anyone can buy guns anywhere in the world, and always could.

Laws don't stop criminal activity, and they certainly don't prevent it.

Apprehension, prosecution, and confinement does prevent future crimes by the criminal.

Armed citizens stop crimes in progress and/or prevent crimes being considered.

Armed police can usually only fill the role of after the crime apprehension, and gathering of evidence and statements from the living victims, if any.

You're talking about things that have nothing to do with the law that Marazul is upset over.

I do think that it's awesome that you want to travel around the world and buy guns. Enjoy the trip.

You're a dog, so I can't hold you to the same standards of reading comprehension that I would for a cat, as an example.

My entire post refers specifically to the laws in Coos County, OR., those who write them, those who violate them, and those who enforce them.

Oh no, not upset at all. Pleased actually, the appropriate counter action was voted in to action by a large majority of my neighbors.
I am even more pleased that they recognized their rights being incrementally taken by an ill informed ignorant pocket of the state.

Looks like you're going to need to run for sheriff.

Coos County Sheriff Craig Zanni, who would get the task of figuring out what gun laws are constitutional, describes himself as a strong supporter of gun rights.

But Zanni said in an interview this week that he has "some concerns about the wording" of the ballot measure, particularly the notion that the sheriff should scrutinize the constitutionality of laws.

    and

Zanni said he doesn't go out looking for violations of the new background check law, but he said he wasn't ruling out that someone in Coos County could face prosecution if they violated the law.

I would run your campaign for you! Today the sheriff's office, tomorrow the Oval Office!

The police have all sorts of discretion. They don't ticket everyone who jaywalks. They have ticket quotas when the city needs the money. Sometimes they'll let you off a speeding ticket with a warning.

Thanks for the offer Sly. I will weigh that against my other options.

I don't think they usually let you out of a ticket because they've decided that speeding tickets are unconstitutional, though.

Here's a suggestion for the next step. Coos County can pass a resolution that any income tax laws that violate the constitution are null and void, and y'all can stop paying your taxes.

    This.

Bullshit. It makes it MORE difficult for Law Abiding people to sell guns in PRIVATE sales. Fuck that if I'm going to some FFL to pay $50+ for a background check. Private sales are....wait for it.....PRIVATE. By enacting such a stupid law, what they are doing is putting money and control into people who have no business doing so; like FFLs. It does NOTHING to keep people safe.

And never-mind the transfer fee too. So you could potentially pay over $100 for both. Fucking bullshit. That's why I'm sticking to Armslist. And if a buyer REALLY wants to use an FFL, then THEY are paying all the fees; not me.

You sound like a reasonable person who has found a reasonable and legal way to sell a gun. Props!

My post means that certain people think that the 16th amendment doesn't permit the current tax structure, and therefore according to their interpretation of the constitution, they don't owe income tax.

On the road to whackadoodle land, it's just one tiny step from where you are standing.

Take another look. I see a whole lot of very big steps and a leap too far. But perhaps the view is different from whackadoodle land.

    So what?

Cities are sanctuaries for "illegal" immigrants (which I'm fine with).

I can give you numerous more examples.
